It would be nice to be able to insert links from one resource (e.g. a Bible commentary) to another (e.g. a dictionary). Now I sometimes end up pasting bits of text from one resource into a note attached to another resource. Maybe this is already possible somehow, but I'm not aware of it.

It is a bit time consuming to browse the iphone library and pick out the resources for "offline reading" individually. I would appreciate the possibility to download all available resources; especially for the ipad coming up very soon....

Personally prefer customization option; wonder about enhancing visual filtering so can customize colors for hyperlinks, chapter numbers, verse numbers, pericopes, and footnotes.

I created a reading plan using L4 on my Mac. It required several months for that reading plan to appear on my iPad. In the meantime, I found another way to create and follow a reading plan, a fix at this time is useless to me, however, others may appreciate reading plans that sync in minutes, not months.

The process of moving from the Bible I am reading to a commentary is way too laborious. First, I have to swipe up on the screen, then I must press an arrow to set the right verse, them touch Passage Guide, then wait until a list appears, then press the "more >>" button, then finally I can select the commentary of my choice. Then, moving back to the text I face the knowledge that I soon have to go through this long process once again soon. Why not allow multiple windows where I can keep my favorite commentary ready? Why not sync my commentary preferences in L4 to my iPad?

Currently Logos four only opens to the last screen used before it was closed. In L3 there was an option to have Logos open to a particular desktop layout.

Add this command to the current commands provided with right click button in the layout drop down menu to allow more windows with different layouts to be displayed at the same time. Add a "keep visible" button to avoid the windows disappear when another one in the background is selected.

When the merger of Highlights into Notes happened, there was a bad secondary impact. When I select text, make a highlight (usually via keyboard shortcut), and then move on to select more text to highlight before the highlighting appears Logos will reset the textual focus, removing what I'd just selected or trimming the selection to the last letter or so. It didn't work that way before--I highlight heavily, and this need to pause for the highlight to become visible before trying to select text has really slowed me down--especially when I work on my tablet, which is slower than my desktop. Please Please fix this so it lets me return to "queuing" highlights.

I use the Inductive Bible Study Method quite often - it is not the only method I use because it is not the only method :-). The highlighting feature in Logos 4 has a precept palate, but it only has part of the symbols available. Does anyone know if Logos is going to add the rest of the symbols? I spoke to the good people at Precept and they said they were all for it, but Logos had to actually do it.

Selective Erase for highlight [updated]

It would be nice to be able to erase a specific type of highlighting by applying that type of highlighting a second time...using "Erase" on an area where I have multiple types of highlighting wipes out everything, when I usually just want to get rid of one type of highlighting. As also voted elsewhere, I would also like to be able to undo the last highlight...every once in a while, Logos applies a highlight to a huge block of text (I think it has something to do with the way I quickly select text with the mouse or pen ... coupled with the unpredictable select delay of Logos 4--by the time I realize Logos overselected, it is too late and I've already pressed a key or button to apply highlight). My idea on the undo is that it would return things to the immediately prior state--including any instances of that highlight on text in that range. For example, "Test ____ Test" if accidently applied with underlining for that whole section, would with CTRL-Z return to "Test ____ Test" and not "Test Test". Regarding the Selective Erase itself, I should be able to highlight the underline part I want to turn off and just apply underline style again--I don't want to use Erase because I tend to have many overlapping highlighting styles and don't want to rebuild all of that just to Erase one.

Apparently the passage guides that we run are being saved. This has caused some of us confusion because (as far as I can tell) there is no indication that our passage guides are being saved. When we want to run a new report, L4 first checks to see if we ran a report on the same verses. If so, it pulls up the old report. Because I use different guides for different studies, this auto saving is very confusing because what I run a new report using the passage guide for a different study, what I expect to be in the new report is not in the guide, and what is in the new report guide should not be in there. Here are my suggestions: 1. provide a way for us to delete our old passage guide reports 2. give us an option to turn this auto save feature off 3. give us an on demand option to save the report 4. when an old report is being used, provide some information stating that the report was created on 01/01/01. 5. provide the same options for the exegetical and word study guides.

This would be really useful on the go, since that is when you tend to run into people asking you to pray for something. It could be a simple mobile prayer list that syncs with the desktop or something more complicated like the ability to sync any of your prayer lists with the ipod.

One of my favorite features of the kindle is the ability to go to kindle.amazon.com after I finish a book and get a text file with all the hightlights that I made. It basically provides me a one-stop shop to review contents of the book. I am currently able to do this with Logos by jumping to the next highlight and working my way through the book. (Thank you for implementing my suggestion on this a few years ago). I like this way of doing it because I get the quotes in their context. But I think it would be beneficial to create something like a passage list (but call it a quote list) automatically generated from all highlights within a book, a collection of books, or by an author. Please add Note indicator customization options. e.g. letter(s), which could use capabilities of Logos display engine on all platforms, including superscript and subscript. In Notes file, please add miniature of style used for that entry along with sort by style. For note titles, please add choice to show abbreviated or complete highlighted selection. When right click on a Highlighted word, please add Edit Annotation and Open Annotation while keeping Remove Annotation. Open Annotation would position note file to annotation plus open note file, if needed. Please add highlighting style option for by reference notes so can highlight verse(s) in all Bibles. Please add ability to highlight footnote text.

The Mac OS printing system is much more powerful than your custom-designed one. It allows printing 2- or 4-up on a page, sets double-sided printing and a host of other printing options. The current Logos Mac one is pretty, but not nearly as useful

Over the years in seminary, I have downloaded and collected many pdf and docx files. I would like to see Logos having the ability to search these files, make cross-reference, and make notes. If this cannot be done, another alternative is that Logos provides an internal program that would convert these files to native logos format.

In the drop-down selection box of the Search function, add the options "My Content" and "My Sermons". The first would include all notes (files, PG, EG, BWS), prayerlists etc. The second would include Sermons, Illustrations and the like. I am assuming that PBB's will be treated as standard resources.
