Add an Info window that tells you what is being updated.
Please add an information window which would allow users to see exactly what is updating such as we had in Logos 3. Updates should not require scouring the forums to see what books or files have been updated.
This is implemented in 4.2a.
Home page shows what has been updated on the homepage.

Just DO it! :-)

This is not what is being asked for in this suggestion. Size of download and resources involved need to been know before download so user can make a choice as whether or not to download now or delay to a later more convenient time.

Hi y'all! I'd like to add my vote in here for this feature. It'd be a blast to find out just what that little turkey is downloading.

I agree with Rosie. And Logos was already downloading before the post about the download appeared in the forum! Please can we have a message on the homepage, preferably with a link to the wiki article on the update?

But people want to know *before* accepting the download how big it's going to be and whether it has anything they're dying for (that pre-pub they were waiting for). Otherwise they might just be too busy to have their machine slow down right now, or they might risk going over their bandwidth limit for the month, and they could choose to defer the download to a better time. Without the info of what's about to come down the pipeline, users cannot make an informed decision as to whether to accept a download or not when they have "Automatically Download Updates" set to No.

This would be a really useful feature and much appreciated.

Please add this!

It would be great to accept a download before it starts. Under the Livbronix 3 system downloads had to be approved. A list was shown of available downloads and you could choose just parts of it if you wanted to. It would be good if that type of format could be implemented again.

Please add a feature that tells us what is being downloaded to logos. If it is a book, I'd like to see the list of books added. If it is an update, I'd like to know what new features (if any) are in the update, and what bug fixes are present. It would be great. I also want to thank all the developers at logos for putting out such a great product! It is such a great help to me! May God bless you all greatly.

It would indeed be of great interest to Logos 4 Mac users to be kept informed of what's being downloaded to their computers. So I do add my name for this request. At the same time, I would like to add that I am very grateful for everyone involved in the development of Logos 4 for Mac. No doubt that t is a great blessing for all of us!

I concur with all who are requesting and Info Window that informs us of what an update is, and for virtually all the reasons mentioned already. Thanks for providing us with such a wonderful resource!

Most software tells you what it is/wants to download. To do otherwise is rude. I am a computer professional and former Network Security Officer. I for one want to know what is going on with my computer. Please make this feature a priority.

PLEEEEEASE do this! Blind updates are for second-rate software. I'm technologically proficient; I want to know what I'm getting. Thanks!

I'd find it really helpful to know what the update is, even if it was just a general comment like 'Logos software update' or 'resource download. I've rated all the books in my library so that any new resource will add as an unrated item to make them easy find and then place in an appropriate collection. But I think an extra column in the Library listing or something similar would be even more helpful for keeping on top of an expanding library.

Yes, an extra column in the Library would be great. Also, a right-click over a given Library title would be the way to go as far as accessing the edit functions I've requested below.

Add my vote; i particularly like Rosie's suggestion about an extra column in the Library listing.
A few hours ago I got a 459Mb download but (a) I don't know how to check if it has installed (I don't know how to find my Logos4 Resources folder because unlike Libronix, Logos4 is not listed in my folder Program Files. Why not? -
