  1. When closing Logos or changes layout, add a dialog box that will allow saving changes to the plan. I am always adding a difficult to find the resource to my layout then closing without updating. The effect is losing that new resource and the changes I have made are also lost

  2. The visual indicators in a resource screen show up and down arrows for moving from resource to resource, and let and right arrows for moving from page to page. However, the keyboard operation is actually the other way around! This creates a large deal of cognitive dissonance when going from page to page, as one's initial tendency is to click the left and right arrows, to agree with the UI indicators, and also with other similar apps (Kindle). Please give an option to swap the functionality of these keys so they're more consistent with the visual UI.

  4. It would be really helpful to have Hapax Legomena datasets/tagging for the OT and NT (and possibly the LXX as well). With this, if you're exegeting a passage you can quickly identify the unique words in the passage. You can also compare the amount of Hapax Legomena a certain book/author uses compared to others in the bible. My professor wants us to look at this in our exegesis so it would be helpful to have a way to quickly do this in the software. And since it will be a dataset you can explore and find hapax legomena with the…

  5. The current Text Comparison tool easily shows you the "% difference" between versions for a single verse.

That's nice, but it's never been useful for me.

What would be useful is to have a roll-up be a verse range, chapter, book, Old Testament, New Testament, or entire Bible between two versions.

    For examples:
What the difference between a particular parable (pericope) wording in Matthew, Mark, and Luke in a selected translation?
What's the % difference between the TNIV and the NIV 2011 in Matthew?
What's the % difference between the NA27 and NA28 in the entire Greek New Testament?
    What's…

  6. When the mouse is moved over a word, BHS SESB 2.0 gives nice instant information, including both the English and German glosess. It is a little confusing when one is looking for quick information. It will be nice if there is an option for a user to choose which version of gloss to show, such as showing only either English or German gloss.

  7. I reluctantly agreed to move over to Logos 7 only after the Logos tech support specialist or salesman alerted me to the fact that Logos 6 will not be supported in the next few months. I typically am a trier of new things but I have absolutely LOVED Visual Copy on Logos 6. So when I took the leap to Logos 7 my Visual Copy is not even close to being as User Friendly. In fact, it spreads verses over multiple screens rather than keeping them on ONE screen, having the content on ONE screen was the beauty of Visual…

  8. I open up Logos and there before me is much of the same content I saw the day before.
Could we have a hide button much the same way as we have on our mobile and tab apps?
Just so we do not see what we have already seen or not interested in. I'm sure you could use the information to better content and to confirm that we have not actually missed anything worthwhile.
PS I am well aware of the choosing of which content appears from the various departments: I do want to see that particular content - just not the…

  9. Could you guys make it so that it can be changed in the screen instead of having to go to settings? Fro instance the Kindle app can change the font and lighting by either swiping the screen or using the thumb & finger to enlarge or decrease the font size. Just asking, think this would make the app much easier to use.

  10. PLEASE add support for text flow diagrams within the software itself. NOT in the sentence diagram module. In fact, there is a program that allows users to do just this:

    http://scrolltag.com/

I just don't want to pay $125 for another program when the capability for Logos to do this already exists. Thanks for the consideration

  11. Printing the major headings and subheadings of a book along with the table of contents (large text, heading). This is especially helpful for book reviews, memorizing the contents of the book, analyzing the flow of content/arguments, comparing other books with similar content, and preparing for examines on books. Just add an additional checkbox in print/export titled: "Book Outline" and when this choice is selected, others can not be selected.

  13. In google, if I search a wrongly spelled word it's smart enough to show me the result with it spelled correctly with the option of the misspelled word too.

I searched: "if you lve me keep my comandments"

    Results:

Showing results for "if you love me keep my commandments"
Search instead for "if you lve me keep my comandments"

  16. When I do a search with the command bar it automatically repopulates the last searched word(s). I have to delete the old search word and then type in the new search. Please eliminate or create an option to turn off saving that last word(s) searched for.

  18. I was given a couple of logos weblinks by customer service then lost the conversation history when I answered a customer satisfaction survey
Couldnt find a way to save conversation once Customer survey prompt appeared on my screen. This feature request would resolve the problem

  19. As a minister who is also a research student, the biggest thing I am after week to week is commentaries. My problem with Logos is that even the highest end packages only have a few select series of commentaries

But for research thesis, one would usually need to read every major commentary on a particular book (sometimes 20-30).

I would be interested in a subscription service where I had access to all of the commentaries Logos has (you could cap it at a certain amount each month) - be it online or through the software.

  20. If you have a number of layouts that you progress through for a Bible study session (e.g. reading the text only, highlighting the text, opening commentaries...), then Logos could take you through those steps.

This could be done by connecting particular layouts together, or something more clever.
