Progress Bar for Resource Reading
I have a suggestion that may be a game changer for many who want to spend time reading resources digitally but end up using paper books because of one particular frustration with digital content. That frustration is that you seldom know how much further until you are done with the section, chapter, etc. When reading a book, you can simply flip a few pages till you find the end of the chapter or section and have an idea of how much further you have to go.
My suggestion is a “progress bar”. This could be at the bottom of the page (or top or side for that matter). It could be adjustable in varying levels of scope (whole resource, chapter, section, etc) using a little + or – symbol. Then a further functionality would be to have that bar clickable so you can skip to whatever spot in that progress bar you would like.
I would be “over the moon” if this would be a part of Logos 7, as it would make resources so much more user-friendly and give readers that book-like functionality of knowing how far you are into something.
I think this idea is so amazing, and would make Logos so much money that I would love to have a free upgrade to a nice base-package in Logos 7 when it comes out with this function :)
I appreciate your consideration!
