I suggest you ...

Allow each pane to have an individual background color

As people age, they need to vary the background colors available. Each pane should have both the background and foreground colors to be individually set by the user. This will also allow the user to better track his place in the software

I have been a long time user of WORDsearch (for over 20 years) and have repeatedly asked for this same feature request ever since they removed many good colour options back in the mid ninties appprox
(It was the one reason I bought their program at the time)
After maybe a couple of thousand dollars of resources later I have given up asking there and was hoping that logos might have implemented full colour control in my long time absence...
Please please please developers consider this as a high priority and I will gladly upgrade to the latest logos version and consider rebuilding my library from scratch
I am totally bewildered as to why this type of feature isnt present from day one
Thanks also to Carla at customer service for telling me about this feature request board
Awesome to find commentors here that are on the same page
I am so encouraged by all your posts
    This has made my day
Please put three votes on this thread if you are visiting this request

Having a variety of background colors to choose from and making each pane independently customizable would help to distinguish different resources at a glance. Please consider making this change soon.

Olive Tree and Accordance both have this. This needs to be a high priority feature. It's very useful and affects everyday usability.

The Logos Mobile app has this now (low light and sepia), so no reason the desktop program shouldn't.

This topic should by titled "Voices in vain".
Logos is interested in money only not in making the things well.
I found TheWord Bible software ten times better the Logos. AND IT IS FREE!
    Totally configurable!!
    Full of resources!!
And extra-full of resources for a modicum price.

Yes, I hate white screens. I like eye-resting black with green letters, like I have on Accordance. But Accordance has thus far not changed its instant details pane, which makes it a pain, as it must have glaring while background, even if the main window is green on black.

Free Bible programs (Online Bible) have had the option to change colours since it was created back in the late '80's. Here we have Logos and no option to have options to change colours. Come on guys!!! :-)

Technicians - please take a little bit of time and permit us to use various colours for various windows in Logos. Free Bible software permits this - seriously, programming this into Logos cannot take that much effort or time. Let's get it rumbling!!!

Does it not seem a bit strange that a program such as Logos does not give us the options to have various colours within itself, apart from doing it supposedly with Windows. Let's see it in the next update! :-)

Starting with the ability to globally change the background color in Logos would be great. I would put this as my top request for the current Logos version to make reading easier for my eyes.

I too woul dlike this feature. It would be much easier to read for long oeriods and to seperate subject material. Thanks

And more generally allow control over colour schemes - I find the colour scheme in general too neutral and "invisible" - and I am not old (really!)

vote for different colored backgrounds to distinguish different panes.

I am finding it difficult to distinguish panes. (Age 71) This could be a disability issue as well as a better way to work.

Customizing the color of each pane would be very cool. But at the very least I'd like to be able to customize the background of the program.
