cross reference note builder
A tool that would allow the entry of 2 or more related (thematically or otherwise) passages attached to a common note so that one could go to either of the passages & connect to or edit the same note. As it is now, to do this one has to copy/paste the same note to multiple passages.
One Note can be attached to two Bible references in Logos 6: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/92683.aspx

It would be great to be able to link an entry in a NOTES file to multiple verses in a Bible. For example, if I have a NOTE entry at Gen 1:2 to the word "void" [tohu] and want to reference this note entry to "in vain" [tohu] in Isa 45:18. Without having to re-enter the note entry, a link to it in Gen 1:2 would be a blessing. This has nothing to do with re-writing the NOTES coding ... just need to add code to implement the linking feature.

Please add Cross Referencing (hyperlinks) to notes in the same file. Important feature.
Here's an example of my frustration... I have a NOTE file called ACTS which contains all my personal notes on the Book of Acts. There is a phrase ("with one accord") which appears 10 times. At its first occurrence (Ac 1:14) I wrote a NOTE. The second occurrence is in Ac 2:1 and I would like to link the NOTE at Ac 1:14 to the phrase in Ac 2:1. I am stymied!! I have been trying for 2 hours and have had no luck. Can someone be kind enough to help me. (I can get Bible verses to link OK but not other URLs.

I think these are two separate things I would like to see. 1) Notes that display for more than one passage, and, more importantly 2) the ability to add my own cross references. Actually, I'd like to be able to select or make my own designations of reciprocal cross-references too--e.g., parallel passage, similar theme, type-antitype, theme, prediction-fulfillment, story-interpretation, etc. This could even be integrated with the passage list feature so that you could make a passage list from a set of cross references or set a passage list to show up as cross-references.

I'm not sure I even need the note functionality. If I could right-click on a verse or a word in a verse and be given a "Add cross reference" option, that would be sufficient. A "nice-to-have" would be a prompt as to whether the cross reference should be bidirectional would be great.

Making graphical links between verses would be extremely helpful for making connections between verses in a pericope. My paper Bible is littered with lines and arrows connecting thoughts in the text which I can't recreate adequately in Logos which is why it remains a reference tool and not my primary study Bible. If these graphical representations could have notes of their own, then we'd be on to something!

Great idea - just what I need to put the same note into an OT verse with its NT counterpart, as well as harmonies of the gospels.
