I suggest you ...

Complete the set of Precept symbols

I use the Inductive Bible Study Method quite often - it is not the only method I use because it is not the only method :-). The highlighting feature in Logos 4 has a precept palate, but it only has part of the symbols available. Does anyone know if Logos is going to add the rest of the symbols? I spoke to the good people at Precept and they said they were all for it, but Logos had to actually do it.

I have been doing inductive bible study using logos software and realized there are not many symbols to use. Is it possible to work with Precept Camden and Precept Ministries to incorporate all the symbols used to markup bible text? Having these symbols as defaults would be wonderful.

Precept Camden has a free A-Z guide which is very useful but can't be used within logos software. Also, trying to create each symbol within the software would be very tedious and take time away from studying.

Here is the link to Precept Camden's markup guide:
        https://preceptcamden.com/key-word-symbols-2/

I've seen many forum posts over the last 5--6 years requesting this to be done and 2016 would be a great year to incorporate this into inductive study. The inductive approach is amazing and having a more expansive symbol library would fit in with Logos' features and functionality that set it a apart from other bible study tools.

I have Logos 6. May I know how to install Precept marking on my LOGOS software?

Please add a symbol for word and "Word". Thank you

May I add that this idea of looking to your customers for input into what would add value will pay you and all users of Logos software significant benefits. While it would be very impracticable to include each and every suggestion, I for one, am pleased you ask and it shows movement to make a quality product!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful. Personally, I so look forward to the day that I can grab and draw a connecting line between two root words, or identical phrases.

My He who bless each of us beyond anything we can imagine bless each of you in a special way for all the work you do for all students of His word regardless of experience! A thank you from the heart!

This capability should be usable for any of us who have Logos Bible App.

I would prefer to have an easier way of drawing my own symbols for use in my iPad. I have tried this but it never worked out well. Anyone have a workflow for creating your own?

If someone could email me (phil at faithlife) the details of what we're missing, I can prioritize this and make sure we add them.

I am teaching my grade 6 sunday school class to mark their physical bibles using the Precepts Inductive symbols. But most of the kids are using their phones and tablets in class - prefering to bring up the Bible in the YouVersion free App. Are the inductive symbols available in the free Logos App download? Adding this to the iPhone and iPad App would be a great feature for my kids.

Yes, please add more symbols. I love the ones you have, but I would love ALL of them (like repent!)

This would be great. Also the ability to create your own. But I will go with all the basic symbols for now.

I also would like the Precepts Symbols added to Inductive Highlighting. Absent that it would be handy if there would be a clear explanation of how to create them ourselves uses graphic images, I understand the basics, but got lost in the specifics of the posts about Work Status Markups--just how did those graphic symbols get into the pallette??? If I could figure this out, I would happily create some and then share, perhaps in this forum we could create a share of some kind. Have others had success and are willing to share?

Please, at a minimum, we need the 41 Inductive Bible Study symbols used by Precept Ministries International. As of this writing, 34 of those symbols are on the INDUCTIVE highlighting palatte. Your consideration is appreciated.

For the glory of God alone.

Having the precept symbols was a factor in my decision to purchase Logos. I had seen and heard Kay discussing the use of the symbols. Disappointed in the limited number actually available for use. Please add more symbols.

How about placing style names as note titles in palette note files. this
would enable sorting by style and going to specific styles in various resources. Thank You!!!

Count me in on this. I'm a new Logos user on the Mac and I thought it was already included in the software. I was really surprised to see how limited it is and according to many folks in the forum how much it slows down the computer. A more complete inductive marking system would be an excellent addition.

I would like to see a few more symbols developed. And as one person has pointed out when Logos does they are prettier.

This would be a easy fix. : )
