  2. Odd feature. Not sure how you'd fully pull it off. Would be fun if your Content Innovation Team could tackle it. See Logos forum thread: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/60822/431659.aspx#431659

  9. Some of the Bibles (Living Bible, Message, etc.) don't have red lettering, speaker labels, or a Reverse Interlinear. It'd be great to add some of these features to those. Granted, paraphrases would be difficult to create an RI for since they are so loosely translated, but if there'd still be a way to pull it off, it'd be good to see where they vary from the original text.

  12. Many times within a Bible, I may view several passage locations. But, then, I may want to go back to one in particular but not necessarily the previous one. I like the way Firefox does this - by clicking and holding the back button, after a delay a listing of locations drops down below the button.

This would be helpful within a Bible in particular.

  13. It seems that since Logos knows what is on wish lists, and it knows what is on sale, that it wouldn't take much to trigger a notification that a resource on a wish list is on sale. However, for people who have wish lists it would be much nicer to know something that you want is on sale, than always have to check if it is, or not. And since Logos is a business the upside is that it would likely boost sales...

  14. We should be able to view our digital library like a real library. Pulling the library icon into the workspace to view resources (as we already can). To be most helpful, I imagine having the option to view this window as a bookshelf (think ibooks) organized according to one of the tried and true cataloguing systems. This would allow us to better know/remember what is actually in our libraries, peruse our libraries for something to read, rediscover that book we bought to read but forget about after it became buried in our current amorphous library, or see a birds eye…

  15. The help file is way behind the development of Logos and is of quite limited use. We need it to be much more current, comprehensive and illustrated. Perhaps it would be useful to distinguish between introductory, intermediate and advanced concepts. There is much material on the wiki that really should be (by now) in the help file.

  16. We use morphologies all the time and most of us have no idea how they compare to each other, their limitations etc. Some of the resources intro material point to websites but even there the information is difficult to find. As for abbreviations, something like the SBL guide would be very useful even sometimes just to find passages in resources we own!

  17. One of my biggest issues with Logos is speed. The constant syncing of every scrolling movement while brings my fast system to its knees...
I propose to have an option where we can manually choose to sync at anytime while running Logos offline (with Internet option OFF).
This function or command would sync with servers all your movements and notes, etc. then go back to offline mode...
Also, along with this, I propose making an option available to turn on or off that asks the user when closing Logos if they want to sync before closing.

  19. As I am going through the excellent lectures on biblical greek with Johnny Ciscneros, I am getting a rich set of information being presented which I would like to go back to from time to time. Having a searchable index of the transcript would allow me to do so very easily. Also, having links that can bring up the lecture on that topic would be a seriously excellent bonus.
