  1. Expand Inductive Precept Key Word Symbols for Highlighting

Please expand "Inductive/Precept" highlighting palette (or add another one) with Kari Dent's Key Word Symbol additions => https://karikingdent.com/key-word-symbols/

Forum thread "Moving Precept Symbols Into A New Palette in Logos 7" => https://community.logos.com/forums/t/134154.aspx has discussion about Kari Dent's PDF files not being readily convertable into styles for Logos and Verbum highlighting use.

Forum reply => https://community.logos.com/forums/p/134175/871997.aspx#871997 shows all of Kay Arhtur's Inductive Precept symbols are in the "Inductive/Precept" highlighting palette as of Logos 6.13

    • Logos on Linux

"We will not be developing a desktop/offline application for Linux.
https://app.logos.com continues to improve and will be our solution for any platform that supports a web browser."

Which is ONLY available by paid subscription, and ONLY available while online. This is not opening up your library (which must be purchased) to the largest audience possible.

Please consider one of these two better options that could be used in a future version of LOGOS:

      1. AVOID frameworks that are NOT multi-platform (ie: using Internet Explorer components [report display engine]). Instead, use available multi-platform options like Firefox or Chromium.

      2. A two…

        • Add Systematic Theologies to Factbook

Systematic Theology section in the passage guide is great, but using the Factbook when using a theological term the systematic theology section should be available. Add the section to the Factbook.

Much like the current course tool, this tool would allow you to create a course on any topic or Biblical book you desire out of your own current library

            • Create a database of biblical issues and stances with faceted browsing and graphical functionality.

I’d like a database of biblical issues and stances with faceted browsing (allowing sorting and filtering), as well as graphical functionality.

For a longer description and justification, see https://community.logos.com/forums/p/133058/865216.aspx#865216.

For example, facets could include Country, Date, Denomination and Stream, Type of Work (e.g. technical commentary, devotional commentary, academic study, popular paperback, sermon); issues could include all the debated points discussed in the major commentaries or outlined in works such as SIL’s Exegetical Summaries (https://www.logos.com/product/38965/exegetical-summaries-series).

              • make highlighting easier as if using a pen or pencil

I would like to suggest, if it hasn’t been already, that your development team come up with a way to highlight in books as if I had a pen in my hand using the mouse or with touchscreen a finger. I see this in other apps. The present system of highlighting is cumbersome, having to highlight the words then move over to the highlight menu or use the shortcut keys (which is only convenient if you want to use the same highlight). In my Evernote app I can use the pencil or my finger to underline, circle, etc. There must…

                • LN Preview Items Preference Toggle

I get to the point where I think it would be worth NOT SUBSCRIBING TO LOGOS NOW just to keep the dumb temporary resources from downloading. Please create an opt out feature for those of us who would prefer not to preview resources. This could be a "preference" within the software which prevents the download, or a toggle in the user's account preferences. Thank you.

                        • Make Visual Copy more user friendly

I reluctantly agreed to move over to Logos 7 only after the Logos tech support specialist or salesman alerted me to the fact that Logos 6 will not be supported in the next few months. I typically am a trier of new things but I have absolutely LOVED Visual Copy on Logos 6. So when I took the leap to Logos 7 my Visual Copy is not even close to being as User Friendly. In fact, it spreads verses over multiple screens rather than keeping them on ONE screen, having the content on ONE screen was the beauty of Visual…

                          • Show TWO Translations for Scripture References

When hovering over a Bible reference show two instead of only one translation (one under the other). Allow us to enable this with a checkbox in the Settings and a dropbox for choosing the secondary translation. It would be very useful, for example, to have one reference showing the original text and another a translation.
There is the option to hit F7 and show 5 translations, but this is hardly as quick and convenient.

                            • Add Evangelical Commentary on the Bible to the Bible Outline Browser

Can the Evangelical Commentary on the Bible be added to the Bible Outline Browser and to the Outlines section of the Passage Guide? This resource has really great outlines of biblical books and I always have to open it separately because it's not in the outline section of the Passage Guide or the Outline Browser. Also, since this commentary is a pretty standard resource in the base packages it would make a great addition to the outline browser tool. https://www.logos.com/product/183/evangelical-commentary-on-the-bible

I struggle to find a use for Vyrso as it functions much like the Faithlife and Bible apps. What I would like to see is a reading app much like Kindle. I use the other apps when I do study but there are many books in my library that I would simply like to read as a book. None of the apps support this function well. I would like to use Vyrso for this purpose. Create a "presently reading" panel that I can pin books to, remember my place, and quickly resume reading.

How about Move Up this would allows us to move missed days up to the current day or maybe even a calendar pop up that lets us move the missed reading up to a future date. That way if we get really busy and behind on our readings we can still keep to a reading plan. The way it is…

I would like to create a custom Reading Plan from a text file (XML in text or Word file), similar to the way custom Lectionaries are input. I would use actual calendar dates and resource links. I would be fine with importing the Reading Plan from all the dates and links in a custom Lectionary.

With this, if you're exegeting a passage you can quickly identify the unique words in the passage. You can also compare the amount of Hapax Legomena a certain book/author uses compared to others in the bible. My professor wants us to look at this in our exegesis so it would be helpful to have a way to quickly do this in the software. And since it will be a dataset you can explore and find hapax legomena with the…

                                      • improve indexing

Indexing takes so long, especially when you have a large library. It would be helpful if when you have to shut down your computer before indexing is done, it could resume where it left off when restarted.

                                        • Provide labels in multiple resource stacked view

Stacking multiple resources makes more sense for my laptop, but the horizontal labels take a considerable amount of room. Using vertical labels on the side would make it much more usable. I've posted a concept picture here: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/140625.aspx
