1. I use Logos on my desktop, iPad and Android (Galaxy S3) and really like the layouts function on my desktop. What about phone and iPad?

   Besides my desktop at home I often use my iPad to study, say the ESV Bible and the ESV Study Bible. Both on a split screen. At other times I may use my bible and some other book on the spit screen. I love the layouts function on my desktop. I would like a way to open and/or switch to a previously set of saved screen/resources at will and have these available to my iPhone, iPad ang Galaxy S3 phone. I would really benefit from this enhancement science whatever I am studying at the time may determine the books I am studying when away from my desk.

2. Make annotation shortcuts reverse the annotation as well.

   For example, if I use the "1" key as my highlighter, it'd be nice to be able to click it again and unhighlight as well. Just a thought that might make things easier for people! (Namely me bua ha ha)

4. The Hebrew pronunciation only picks up the first word in a sentence and not all the text.

5. restore MARC records on each book as in L3

   Maybe this isn't the most efficient way to generate bibliographies of Logos books, but it is the one I used to create my Works Cited in my DMin dissertation. Now retired, I want to get into writing again.

6. It would be great if you could see all of the Books of the Bible on one page at the same time.

   It would be great if you could see all of the Books of the Bible on one page. Then once you click on a book, another window opens to show the entire book, chapter by chapter with a brief heading. That way you have a better idea of what's going on in each chapter. For example, You could click on the book of 1 John:
   Chapter 1: Real Fellowship With God.
   Chapter 2: Christians Know The Truth.
   Chapter 3: Sin Is Never Acceptable.
   Chapter 4: Don't Be Gullible In Your Faith.
   Chapter 5: Be Confident In Your Faith.

8. Better Control of Multi-Book Volumes/Works

   1. Allow us to search for books within multi-work volumes from the Library Screen (perhaps have a sublist under multi-work volumes displaying the different books found within).
   2. Display which book within a multi-work volume a search result is found
   3. Allow us to limit searches within a multi-work volume to a specific book found within that volume.

   More and more resources are being published as author-based collections were individual books are within a volume of works. This can be a problem when searching as results are displayed as being within a volume of a work and we are not told which specific book within the volume it is found in. These multi-work volumes should be able to be accessed not only as volumes but also as individual books. This was suggested in this forum post responding to Bob's suggestion regarding what we would like to search for but can't: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/27679/213107.aspx#213107

   I have recently had this problem when trying to search within only John Owen's Death of Death in the Death of Christ. I had to first find the book within my John Owen Collection. Then open that volume. Then run a search on that volume and have to manually sort through which results from that search fell within Death of Death.

9. Enable touch screen highlighting without having to create a note.

   With the popularity of windows based touch screen tablets and the windows app not being very robust it would be helpful to be able to highlight inside the full logos program without using a keyboard. Right now we can highlight but it requires creating a note as well. Simply being able to highlight would diminish the need for a fully functional windows app.

10. Lyrics Resources

    Begin to develop resources that contain lyrics to popular Christian worship songs and link them to Bible verses. For example, Michael Card's "Lift up the Suffering Symbol" lyrics would be included and would link to both Numbers 21:4-9 and John 3:14-15.

    Another example would be Rich Mullins' "52:10" lyrics linking to Isaiah 52:10.

    This would be a great way to help Logos users find multimedia illustrations to utilize in their own devotional times or when teaching others. This is like the hymnal resources, just with a modern twist.

    Wouldn't it be nice to zoom in on a graphic within a resource, instead of saving and using an outside viewer to view it?

12. Sans Serif Typeface in Logos Bible app

    I love reading with Sans Serif typefaces while on my iPad or iPhone. Is there a way to do this? I don't think so, but it would be a nice option.

13. Allow third party fonts in other languages

    I would like a more readable font for Arabic than the default Arial MS. There are more available. Can that be added to preferences?

15. Place More Emphasis on Updates Which Reduce Eye Strain and Increase Eye Comfort

    In the interest of reducing eye strain, increasing eye comfort, and protecting the long term vision health of Logos users, I request the following changes/improvements be considered:

    • Allow users the option of customizing the background color of individual resource panels and the font color that appears within them. In my opinion, the current “White” background color is uncomfortably bright. Among potential color options, I recommend various darker shades of white, a lighter shade of “Paper”, and a night mode with black background and green font.

    • Allow users to customize the background color within the pop-up window which appears when the mouse hovers over a cross reference within Bible text as well as the color, style, and size of the font used within the window. Also, please include the option of increasing the overall size of this window.

    • Allow users to customize the panel background color and font color, style, and size within the Power Lookup Tool.

    • Allow users to set a highlighter color of their choice to display Search engine results. I realize these highlights are intended to stand out within the text, but the current solid yellow/orange color is irritating for my eyes (especially when there are multiple hits in close proximity). This issue is most evident with Search results for the “Library Results” section within “Factbook” searches which highlight nearly the entire first paragraph of the article. This is visually overwhelming and in my opinion, unnecessary.

    • Allow users to set a highlighter color of their choice to display the “Links to Open Panels” visual filter. Although this visual filter is normally too important to turn off, its defaulted bold pink color can be annoying at times.

    • When using “Print/Export”, please allow users to increase or decrease the font size and customize the font style of any resource (especially Bibles). In Logos 5, I was able to increase the font size of printed Bible passages by adjusting the Font Size Slider within the Bible Resource Panel prior to opening Print/Export. I used Print/Export often to avoid hours of staring at a desktop computer screen. This feature also allowed me to get up and walk around while reading printed text rather than setting for prolonged periods; however, I am no longer able to do this because the Print/Export default font size in Logos 6 is uncomfortably small for my eyes and is unable to be changed. Please also restore the option of adding Bible notes (literal renderings, alternate translations, or explanations) without cross references to the footnotes section at the bottom of the printed page.

    • For the Copy Bible Verses tool, please allow users to add Bible notes (literal renderings, alternate translations, or explanations)without cross references to the footnotes section at the bottom of the page when exporting Bible chapters/passages to an MS Word document.

    • Allow users the option of decreasing the brightness level and adjusting the color shade of any current Bible book cover icon. Several Bible cover icons that were recently changed for Logos 6 (especially the ESV and LEB) are now so bright they are preventing me from comfortably focusing on the Bible text and are causing eye strain. If it would be easier for Logos to accomplish, please simply restore all Bible icons that were recently changed back to their original Logos 5 appearance (design, color, and brightness level). A third option would be to allow users to hide or "turn off" Bible book cover icons when the resource is opened. (In addition to Bibles, there are several other resource icons to which this issue applies, but Bibles are a higher priority.)

    • Please create an option to use a soft highlighter color of one’s choice which will highlight a particular Bible verse and scroll down (verse by verse) as one reads through the Bible. This verse highlighter would be controlled up or down by the keyboard arrow keys or the mouse wheel. I previously used this feature within WORDsearch (a program far less sophisticated than Logos) and it significantly helped in reading text.

16. Create a drop down menu for favorites

    Favorites should work like they do in an internet browser, and should be placed as a drop down menu on the top bar. Currently, a link to favorites can be placed on the top bar. But it does not open in a drop down menu.

17. create a Logos smart tag compatible with the openoffice/libreoffice platform

    With the incredible recent growth in these free alternatives to Microsoft Office, the user share is bound to grow quickly. It would be nice to not have to rely on MSFT and still have the power tool that Smart Tags is for Logos users.

18. Feature rich Cloud Option

    Would love access all my paid content on my logos account via web/cloud. Option of download content for off line content storage on external drive would be nice.

19. Note Icon displays Markup Style

    Within the note/highlight document, the marked up content icon (far left) should default to the markup type used to make the note. This would allow for quick scanning based on the type of highlight (because many people highlight with different markup for difference significances).

20. Provide a secondary means by which one can upgrade software packages

    I am running Yosemite on a Mac and have recently tried to upgrade to Logos 6. This has proved to be a monumental nightmare as I have spent many hours over several days trying to resolve the download problems with both Apple and Logos. Both sides are assuring me that it is the other sides fault and I am caught in the middle with over $3000 invested in a software package that I can't fully use because it won't properly download. Why is this the only way? Why can't there be a secondary means like emailing a zip file, mailing it on a thumb drive, or even using a CD? Now I am stuck with a partial download of 6 - I was told I can't revert to 5 because I will have the same problems with Yosemite, and the only option that Logos is giving me is to revert back to Maverick. I began this struggle 4 days ago, I could have already received via mail and thumb drive and already be back in business. Why is there not another way?
