3. cataloging element for real books into into a Logos book catalog

   I have an Idea that I'd pay money for (I am paying money for).
   I would love Logos to have a cataloging element to it for our real books. Scan a barcode and then enter into a cataloging system so I can see what books I have (real or virtually or both).
   It would also be super cool If I could link that library with all of the other pastors at my church and maybe in the city along with our Church's library and see if any pastors in my church have a book I'm looking for.

   Something comparable to Surpass Software or something like that (that what my church is paying for).

5. drag arrows to connect one text to another

   you guys have the arrow emphasis mark but it doesn't lead to another word. I'm not sure how you could build the software, but I imagine there are creative options. it could be that you highlight the text, click highlights, select "connect text" option, then when you click on another word it creates an arrow leading from the highlighted portion to the clicked portion.

6. Add more underline color options

   Add more color options for the underlines (I only have colors red, green, and blue). It would be great to have as many as the highlight options.

7. Notes Features.

   Logos has some great tools in their notes that make study and preparation better. However, the Outlining is buggy and lacking. First, making a "Harvard Outline Style" would create hierarchy that so many are used to - I. A. 1. a. etc.

   Also, when copying a quote from a resource, it would be great if a "bottom section" was automatically generated as a citation section for all the resources instead of pasting it right below and messing up flow of the note.

9. Better alignment of verses from parallel translations.

   One of my Wordsearch desktops I used had multiple Bible translations opened in parallel columns. The verses were aligned so verse 1 in each column aligned with verse 1 in all the other columns and continued throughout, and whichever verse I was reading was highlighted, which helped keep my place. I have been able to mostly recreate this with a layout in Logos, but the verses do not align the same way, even with linking, and there is also no highlight of the verse I am on. Mostly cosmetic, but it does make it easier to read and track where I am using the Wordsearch desktop instead of the Logos layout.

10. Arrange Clippings

    It would be great if we could arrange the clippings by resource, date added, and Biblical narrative. For example, I have a bunch of clippings on Hosea, and it would be amazing, if, by the titles of the notes, they could be rearranged in the order of the chapters of Hosea.

13. reorder anchors on notes

    Sometimes it is nice to know which anchor is the primary reference for notes with multiple anchors. If there was a way to reorder them, this would be helpful.

14. Allow user to interact with popup note in desktop app for windows

    On the desktop windows logos app a user cannot interact with the popup note that happens when hovering over the note icon like you can in the mobiel version of logos.

    In the desktop app you have to click on the note icon to jump to what ever reference might be located in that note. This causes another pane to be created on the pc app taking up unnecessary realestate on laptops. I would be more effective use of monitor realistate if one could interact with the note that pops up when hovering over the note icon and click on any reference within the note to have it jump to that reference without having to open up tne note panel to interact with the reference.

    Basically make the desktop app as it relates to pop up notes when hovering over the note icon behave like it does in the mobile app as it makes it a lot more streamlined if the mobile app and the desktop app behaved similarly in this situation.

16. Allow for better control over how notes are targeted

    I would like to suggest that you create a feature within notes as it relates to how a note is anchored to a resource be it Bible or other resource.

    Currently placing the note icon anywhere other then just before a verse number in the Bible is not very flexible.

    While preparing a study I wanted to have a chain reference note just before a verse number but within the verse itself just before one of the words within that verse I wanted to have a reference to another book like the Bible dictionary in order to make it very quick and easy to reference a spot in a dictionary within a target word within a Bible text.

    While I see this can be done by highlighting the word you want to target it only allows you anchor the word to a particular Bible rather then reference it for any Bible translation you might be using at the time.

    What I would suggest is to allow the user to tweak the type of anchor that is used once an anchor is created rather then having to delete an anchor fixed to a certain text and adding another anchor of reference type.

    While I know you can add multiple anchors to a note it also creates multiple note icons unless you create the referenced anchor then delete the anchor fixed to a particular bible version. Only in that case will just one note icon show up for a particular target.

    Another way of approaching this problem or in addition to, would be to have a global setting whereby when you select a verse or a word within a verse that anchor would automatically become a reference instead of a fixed anchor to a specific Bible.

    The third option you might do to allow more flexibility to manipulate type of anchor you wish to use is to allow for the creation of sub anchors manually to a various anchor type you are wanting to use.

    For example lets say you want to have a note icon appear just before the word created in Genesis 1:1 and have it be a referenced text meaning it would be available in any version of the Bible you had in your library.

    You could create a feature whereby you could not only manually type in the text but also the word within the text you would like the note icon to be anchored next to.

    Now granted their would have to be some context logic to know where a note would go if that particular word did not appear in a version you wanted to use but from what I can see you already have done that to some degree with highlighting where you could have a highlighted area referenced and even if another version has the sentance in a different arrangement it seems like your software will intelligently highlight the words that fit the correct sense of the text even if the arrangement is slightly different so it would seem like you could use that same principle with note icons where even if a word is not found in another version that their could be some context logic that would be used to be able to place the note icon as close to the word that was substituted or the thought that went with th eword in one version and place it in the proper arrangement within another version.

    Anyway just a suggestion but boy I can see how at least for me it would be very useful in doing a topical Bible study where you are wanting to jump from one verse range to another but in some instances would like to expound upon a word within a text by having a note beside that word that could be hovered over or clicked on (depending if you are using a mobile devise or a laptop) and get the essence of the historical reference right off the word you are wanting to highlight within the text and then have the option to jump to that particular area in the book from within the word you put the note icon next to as opposed to having to have possibly multiple chain reference texts that go to one verse and then under that have a historical fact that went with a particular word or phrasing within the verse.

    Even making two notes attached to a verse would be confusing because later down the line how would one remember which note icon was meant for a chain reference link to another passage in the Bible or what note was meant for the referenced historical quote in another book where as you allow for customization of referenced anchors within the text it would make it much easier down the road in a study to know where a cultural, historical or other non bible reference link might be and where you might have a chain reference to go to the next scripture in the topic you are studying on.

17. Years ago on Wordsearch I could double click any word and have it immediately give me the Strongs Greek or Hebrew definition.

    My idea would be that you would bring that feature back into existence. I know it can be done because I could do it 15-20 years ago. It was so nice and convenient. Thank you for your time and consideration!!! God Bless!!!

    First: the Lemmata-level. Shows and compares words, roots etc.
    Second: the sentence-level. Shows similar grammatical structures, similar phrases or parts of phrases
    Third: the dataset-level: Enhancing the functionality of the datasets by comparing everything put in one text with the text with which one wants to compare it.

    For example: Putting in Isa 1:1-7 and comparing it with Isa 40:1-11. Comparable to a sophisticated anti-plagiarism-software we should now be able to see differences and similarities in meaning, in structure, in grammar and in tense.

19. Show Microsoft Word in a Logos window

    I do my exegesis in Microsoft Word as well as my sermon writing, simply because it is a better Word processing tool than Logos Notes and also a lot faster. I will (probably) never use Logos Notes for my sermons. So it would be great if You could open Microsoft Word within Logos.
    This would give the opertunity to open one window (Logos) instead of multiple windows (Word next to my commentaries in a floating window, but also the exegetical guide, and so on) and that gives a better working flow.
