Add link to Morphology Charts when right click on word in Greek New Testament
When working the Greek New Testament it would be very helpful to be able to right click on a Greek word and have a link to the Morphology Chart for that word to be one of the options available in the popup menu.

Global Columns Reset
The ability to make an option to globally reset columns across all resources instead of only one resource at a time. It would be a great time saver. Thank you.

Manually choose when to sync
One of my biggest issues with Logos is speed. The constant syncing of every scrolling movement while brings my fast system to its knees...
I propose to have an option where we can manually choose to sync at anytime while running Logos offline (with Internet option OFF).
This function or command would sync with servers all your movements and notes, etc. then go back to offline mode...
Also, along with this, I propose making an option available to turn on or off that asks the user when closing Logos if they want to sync before closing.0 votes -
Allow layouts to be categorized and/or sorted
I create a lot of layouts and it would be very nice if I could sort and/or categorize these by name (or perhaps type).

Better viewing options for pictorial resources.
On my MacBook Pro when I click on a picture in the home page, the window opens with a description taking up 75% of the window. With no way to resize the text to picture portion one cannot see a good view. double clicking on the picture should bring up an independent window that will allow you to view it fully.

'quotes' view in notes + my own comments below...
The new quotes view in notes is much more helpful but would be way better if it could also show my own comments below each quote.

Allow local linking or embeding of files (MP3, video, pdf etc) in Personal Books, and Notes.
Many of us collect documents we encounter in our research. Would love to be able to embed, or create a local link to these files (eg sermon audio files) inside of notes or more importantly in Personal Books.

keep found and highlighted text from being covered by the hanging FIND box.
Ctrl+F opens a FIND box in line 3, below line 1, the book title, and line 2, the chapter and verse. Unfortunately, the highlighted hit often falls in line 3, behind the FIND box. Please use the R end of line 2 for the FIND box, or scroll the text a line when the highlighted word or phrase will be under the FIND box.

Mistype in Lexham Hebrew English Interlinear Bible
In Joshua 22:27, the 18th word should read (they) in the english interlinear translation. Instead it reads (hey)

Place More Emphasis on Updates Which Reduce Eye Strain and Increase Eye Comfort
In the interest of reducing eye strain, increasing eye comfort, and protecting the long term vision health of Logos users, I request the following changes/improvements be considered:
• Allow users the option of customizing the background color of individual resource panels and the font color that appears within them. In my opinion, the current “White” background color is uncomfortably bright. Among potential color options, I recommend various darker shades of white, a lighter shade of “Paper”, and a night mode with black background and green font.
• Allow users to customize the background color within the pop-up window which appears…

Create a drop down menu for favorites
Favorites should work like they do in an internet browser, and should be placed as a drop down menu on the top bar. Currently, a link to favorites can be placed on the top bar. But it does not open in a drop down menu.

create shortcuts for hiding all toolbars, menu, etc
When you think about it, Logos toolbar, menu bar, resource toolbar, locator bar, etc. all take about 15% of vertical real estate of the screen. With the introduction of a simple 1 key stroke, users can toggle all these various bars by simply pressing "`"(key before 1) for example..
This would be very effective for “reading mode” when one does not need command window or various shortcut icons, etc.
when "`" is pressed the first time, EVERYTHING, but the content disappears,
press "`" again, and you get the locator bar ,
press "`" again and you get resource toolbar,
press…

Write notes about a resource
Sometimes I struggle to remember how I got a resource, and especially why I bought it: what questions I was seeking to find answers for. This could also be useful to accumulate a review we're writing while we read the resource.

Provide guides to research data such as morphologies, abbreviations, etc
We use morphologies all the time and most of us have no idea how they compare to each other, their limitations etc. Some of the resources intro material point to websites but even there the information is difficult to find. As for abbreviations, something like the SBL guide would be very useful even sometimes just to find passages in resources we own!

Update and Improve the Help File
The help file is way behind the development of Logos and is of quite limited use. We need it to be much more current, comprehensive and illustrated. Perhaps it would be useful to distinguish between introductory, intermediate and advanced concepts. There is much material on the wiki that really should be (by now) in the help file.

Display full user documents search results in the search window (each hit with hightlights)
Currently one only finds that there is a number of hits in a whole user document such as an annotation file. This considerably reduces the power of searching within user documents. Instead, we need the results to be displayed just like they are for resources: each individual hit should be listed and the search items highlighted.

Edit the visual copy.
A great feature that is missing is the ability to edit the visual copy. Often it is good to emphasize a word or phrase and even to change the background. It is also very clumsy to not have the copy placed at the insertion point.

update resources less frequently
It seems that in the past week, every time I boot up there is a delay of several minutes, since some resource or another is being updated almost daily. Can resources be updated only every week or so, so that I'm not stalled whenever I want to run Logos?
