  1. Need "Date Added to library" for the library list

I would like the library list (the list that shows up when you click the blue book at the top left of Libronix) to contain a "date purchased" or "date added" so that you can more easily find new books that are being automatically downloaded. I like community bids and I purchase a lot of books through there, but I don't want to have to keep track and figure out what's been downloaded, what hasn't. Logos automatically downloads new books, but short of going through my e-mails to see what community bids have been completed, there seems to be no…

  2. Improve reading aloud

It would be nice if it was on all resources, and you scroll along with the reading.( because if you do that now it will stop reading, and on only one source the computer scrolled along with it, THAT WOULD BE BEST!!)

  3. "Dictionary of Daily Life in Biblical and Post-Biblical Antiquity" by Prof. Edwin M Yamauchi and Marvin Wilson

This 4-volume reference work from two excellent scholars would be a great addition to the Logos library. Having such research just a click away from a topic or passage being studied would be yet another enhancement to the Logos software & library.

  4. Add speaker icons to words in interlinear Bibles

Being able to hear the sound of the Greek by clicking on the speaker icon in an exegetical guide is great. But it would be much better if it was also available in the interlinear display as well. It would allow those unfamiliar with Greek to learn it much easier, without having to go to the hassle of the slow exegetical guide for each verse. This could be selected/deselected like the other interlinear features.

  5. Allow Grouping of personal books into folders/sub-folders like Favorites

Organizing Personal Books in the Personal Book Builder into folders/sub-folders like Favorites would greatly facilitate finding/viewing one's personal book library. Once you have a significant number of personal books, it can be a challenge to see what's there.

  7. create a "collapse all" feature within the table of content window (to the left) to help minimize scrolling

If you open the table of contents window (to the left) and read one or more large sections, such as Genesis and Isaiah in the Bible, it expands and lists all the chapters. You have to then scroll around wasting time to find the right location or close several individual books. It would be more efficient if a "collapse all" feature were available to help restore the table of contents to its original state.

  8. Add the Vietnamese Bible (multiple translations already under open domain online) to Logos as a fully indexed resource

I leverage Logos richly for all of my lesson and sermon preparation for the Vietnamese congregation I serve. Sadly, while I can do the bulk of my work within Logos, I am forced to go outside Logos for Vietnamese Bible texts, which really negates some of the key benefits of my core workflow within Logos. Please bring one or more of the Vietnamese Bible translations into Logos as a "first class citizen" (e.g. fully indexed, searchable, able to be flagged as a Link Set for parallel scrolling with English bibles, study bibles, etc).

  9. Allow library resources to be stored on/accessed from external storage (such as from an SD card)

I would like to download all of my resources to an external microSD card so that they are available when I can't connect to the Internet and don't consume the bulk of my internal storage (such as on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 that has 16 GB of internal storage and a 64 GB microSD card.

Supporting an external card could be a great experience for end users. That way, I could have one card that I could use in my Samsung Tab, my desktop system, or any other device Logos supports. Being connected to the Internet can be nice,…

  10. Nota Bene, a powerful word processor & bibliographic tool right within Logos https://faithlife.com/nota-bene-software/ Paper Writing Heaven

If you already use Nota Bene you know how great this software is for writing and research. Imagine all the benefits of Nota Bene, Ibidem and Orbis right in the framework of Logos. With the Nota Bene word processor one could write their next paper, article, or full length book with all the benefits of picking your styles (Turabian, APA, etc.) and utilizing the bibliographic manager of Ibidem.

Logos already has a word processor within it, to take notes, though this is nothing compared to the engine of Nota Bene. Logos also has it's own bibliographic tools to keep track…

  11. footnote like libronix - example

How Libronix works with footnotes and how Logos 5 does not work

Our students would appreciate it so much if Logos 5 could have this feature present in Libronix

This is how the Libronix Digital Library works with collected items in the clip board

I can collect as many quotes as the Word clipboard permits and when I go to the document(s) where I want to use them they foot note very beautifully .

    Introduction: Creation and Chaos 1:1–2

The unit begins with a concern central throughout Genesis 1–11, the creating God and chaos. We commonly translate these two verses…

  12. Add Prof Horner's Bible Reading Plan

Make it an option within Logos 4 so we don't have to go through this http://wiki.logos.com/Reading_Plans!

  13. ISBN Export

Please consider adding ISBN export option. This would allow users to easily add their e-books to “My Library” on Google and similar sites. Thanks!

  14. Create a proprietary Logos e-ink reader

Find a company that builds and designs e-ink tablet readers and create a Logos proprietary reader, similar in many ways to a Kindle PaperWhite. All I have to do is log into my Logos account and voila, all my Logos resources are available for me to read, just like I used to be able to do with the send to Kindle feature, but this would be a Logos-branded reader, so you don't have to deal with all those crazy lawyers trying to get us to buy books twice (or more) just so we can read them on different platforms. I…

  15. Take the restrictions off of Sermon Editor

Greetings, let me begin by saying just how giddy I am that I now have Logos 7. I love it and have loved the software since Logos 1 (CD Word days). I am writing to ask for a couple of enhancements.

1st. Basics of Biblical Hebrew Vocabulary. You should make the words it is pronouncing bigger. Its not like you don’t have plenty of space in the left panel. It would help so that the pointing would be easier to see. Please change that.
2nd - I was so very excited to learn about the improvements to the sermon guide…

  16. Export Highlighted Text

I tend to read with a highlighter in hand and would like to mimic this in Logos. It would be great to be able to just easily highlight as I read along; and then export my highlighted sentences or paragraphs into the notes (with cites) so they could be printed, exported or searched. This would be a great aide for researchers.

  17. Manual Save/import/export of Notes/Collections/Layouts/Filters/Searches .

Opps... I didn't want to delete that!! Sound familiar? Allow users to manually save, import & export items such as collections, notes, filters, layouts, search results, etc. This will permit recovery from accidental deletion/edits. It also allows users to select a subset of items to have available at a given time, without losing the others.

  18. Automatic sentence diagram tool

Some resources, like The Lexham Syntactic Greek New Testament: Expansions and Annotations, contain all the morphological and syntactic elements to allow an auto generation of line sentence diagrams. What about a tool which automatically built a line sentence diagram after parsing such resources? Would it be excessive as a requisite?

  19. FACTBOOK: DICTIONARIES ARE IGNORED

There are two problems with factbook
    1. first, factbook does not always pull up entries in ABD. sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't even though in both cases there is a specific heading in ABD

    2. second, factbook NEVER pulls up entries in some dictionaries like:
https://www.logos.com/product/6374/a-dictionary-of-the-bible even though they are priorized to the top I resources

  20. Can the Sermon Editor PLEASE "drag & drop" content?

As you work on a sermon, the content, scriptures, illustrations, and sub-points can move or change with the flow and organization of the talk. The Sermon Editor, currently, does not allow for this. Presently, you are able to only build it correctly the first time, or copy/paste/delete/and rebuild a slide. This makes using the Sermon Editor very cumbersome to use.
