  2. It would be nice to right click on a highlighted work and have an option to hear the proper pronunciation of the word. As it is now, I have to highlight it and copy then open the Tools / Pronunciation then paste it there and see what pops up

  3. When I highlight a passage that has more than about 3 or 4 verses to it it shows the ellipses and I have to go to the reference in the bible to read the whole thing. Why can't you guys make it so that it shows the whole reference?

  5. When Clippings, Bible Passage, Passage List, and other item tabs are dragged into a Favorites folder, the displayed hyperlink title is specific to that instance. L8 Notes is breaking the mold and requires one to rename the generic "Notes" each time to the specific open notebook. (SW should support the user rather than the user support the SW.)

  6. Say I type a note Luke 1:1. Logos recognizes it as a passage from Scripture and creates a link to it.
The same works if I type Luke 1:1-2.

At times though I note f.e. Luke 1:5 & 7 (leaving one or more verses out) or maybe even books, f.e. Luke 1 & 5.
Right now, Logos only recognizes the first part and does not link to verse 7, only verse 5.
    Can this become a feature?

  7. Fix: The "match all word forms" feature uses an algorithmic, not dictionary-based, stemmer. It's currently tuned for modern English so it will miss some archaic word endings or forms commonly used in the KJV, e.g., abideth, hath, shalt, thou/thee/thine, etc.

  10. i.e.: Passage Exegesis under workflows is an excellent tool both for training and for practical use of becoming familiar with a passage and doing my own work though it. However, currently, once I get finished with the process there is nothing that can be done with it other than go back and copy/past each response or reflection found in each section box in order to utilize my own study notes. There would be a practical value in being able to export the work assembled after filling in a workflow.

  11. At Logos 7 I was able to add a note via the contextmenu. Immediately i could insert the text, cause the cursor in the note-textbox was active. At Logos 8 it isn't that way. But I thing it should be.
I found out after typing 7 times the tab key, the focus goes to the box.

  12. Hi,

I absolutely love the New Amplified Study Bible… Amplified Study Bible of 2015 Break Through the Language Barrier.
    Can be found at http://www.lockman.org/amplified/index.php

It is available with e-Sword X: Bible Study Extreme free software which can be found at https://itunes.apple.com/app/e-sword-x/id968437868?mt=8

This is by far my favourite study bible and I would truly appreciate if it were integrated into your software so I don’t have to use two separate study tools.

I strongly suggest you look at how you might be able to integrate this bible into Logos...

    Thank you,

    Eddie Hiscock

  15. LOGOS Software 7 (MAC) had "Fragments" which was very useful in the initial Page. I did not find that option in LOGOS 8. Please add.

  16. When creating a personal book type: BIBLE, I would like a way to tag a verse that references or quotes another verse (same bible).

Matt 2:15 - "Out of Egypt I called my Son." [reference to Hosea 11:1]

For example in the NIV, Matt 2:15 has a reference to Hosea 11:1 for the quote "out of Egypt I called my Son."

Superscript Tags suggestion (matching installed bible formats):
    "a", "b", "c", "d", - Starting with "a" again with new book

  17. Include audio as Biblegateway has. I have a slight case of dyslexia and it helps to listen as I read any version. I happen to use NIV.

  18. When upgrading, the website allows viewing of all resources in a package, shows what we own, and what will be new to us. The really nice thing about it is that it categorizes everything. For instance, it lists all Bibles together, all Commentaries together (and each book in a commentary series is listed under that commentary), etc.

Unfortunately, that list only compares resources of what's in that base package, rather than showing all of our additional resources we've purchased, such as additional commentaries.

It would be very helpful to have (either on the website, or in the software) a list…
