Make a free version
Right now only the people who can afford it can get your bible software. I know it costs money to make, but should study of the Bible using your software be excluded from the poor? Or is the study of the Bible just for those people who can afford it? What would Jesus do? Allow you to profit from the Bible? You appear to be no different than the money changers in the Temple.
It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. That…

Add Split Screen to Text Comparisons so one can see the Version Title as one scrolls down the verses where the current titles disappear.
above describes it simply...
1 voteText Comparison in Logos 7 keeps the list of versions pinned at the top of the panel.

improve "Find (in this panel)" facility.
Add AND/OR capability. Eg. church AND body, finds verses that contain both words anywhere in the verse; grace OR mercy, finds verses that contain either of the two words.
1 voteUse the “Inline Search” feature of Logos 6 to perform searches with AND and OR capability. See details here: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/92745.aspx

Hotkey for copying in "Copy Bible Passage"
Prior to Logos 7, the "Copy Bible Passage" window had a hot key associated with the "Copy" button (Alt-C). That hotkey no longer works. For us keyboard folk, it would be great to get our hotkey back. Thanks.
1 voteThis was fixed in Logos 7.1.

Visual Copy- Needs: New Instruction Video and More User Friendly
I played around with the ver. 7 Visual Copy feature - once I could find it. A new instructional video needs to be created for ver. 7. The video listed in the Verbum (7.1) Help > Visual Copy was created for Logos 6; not even closely familiar with the steps required in ver 7+ It would be much user-friendly, easier and handy to separate Visual Copy away from Media as a separate tool under Utilities. It is a frustrating process to create a new slide that is not a scripture quote. The templates available with the right-click option of selected…
1 voteThe “Visual Copy” in Verbum Help describes the feature for Logos 6 users. The documentation on the new Media Tool is in a different article in the Help file: https://ref.ly/logosres/logos4help-verbum;hw=Media_Tool (or https://ref.ly/logosres/logos4help;hw=Media_Tool for Logos 7).
There is also a Logos Pro video about the feature: https://www.logos.com/logos-pro/media-tool

Word for Word Highlighter
I am a 3rd year seminary student who used the Word for Word highlighter on reader mode. This feature has been removed and I want to bring it back. I use this option to study large volumes of the Bible by listening to it and following along with my eyes. This allows me to go through many books of the Bible in a short period of time. Let's bring this feature back, it was removed.

Voiceovers on Reader Mode
I used to be able to click on the computer reading voice or the voiceover mode from a professional voice over talent. Voice over talent is no longer used for an option on reader mode, let's bring back professional voiceover talent on reader mode.

Multi-Version Note Referencing
Make notes available for all versions of the Bible I own. When I take a note in my NIV Bible, I would love to see it in while reading the ESV or NASB or whatever version I'm reading through. That way I can see when I've taken the time to write down my thoughts regardless of the translation I'm in. It is still nice to know which version I took the note in, but it would be nice to see a hyperlink available in all the translations or at least my top 5.
1 voteIf you take a note on a reference (as opposed to a specific word), it will be available in all versions.
Logos 7 includes the ability to see highlights (on individual words) across all Bibles (with reverse interlinears) by using the Corresponding Notes and Highlights feature: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/120644.aspx

Fix the scrolling system on the NASB95 Bible
The scrolling system on the NASB95 Bible is not like all the other books. It jumps pages at a time instead of sliding down the page like other books. It makes it impossible to effectively scroll when using the Bible.
1 voteOn the NASB95 panel menu, change the “Columns” setting to “None”. See https://community.logos.com/forums/t/132545.aspx for more help.

Greek ressource that covers AT (LXX) and NT
. . . helpfull to search the whole greek bible at once. So for example you can search "πιστευω" in the AT and NT with one search.
1 voteUse Tools > Collections to create a “Greek Whole Bible” collection that contains your favourite NT and LXX resource. Select that collection from Morph Search to search them both at once.

Please bring back original reverse chinese interlinear display, whole page interlinear
I have both ‘The Lexham Hebrew-English Interlinear Bible’ and ‘The Lexham Greek-English Interlinear New Testament’ and find them very helpful. Especially, with visual filter, I can easily highlight, mark all verbs, conjunctions specifically; imperative in red, indicative in blue…for whole Bible automatically.
When Chinese package (和合本…) first came out, I am excited and expecting similar UNIQUE features, it is very very helpful, moreover, I can only find it in Logos!!
However, such display is suddenly replaced with something like NRSV with interlinear, and it is not as helpful. Thus I write to praise your good work and beg to have…

Search for multiple Bible references in one translation
Text Comparison allows users to look up single references in multiple translations, I'd like to see the inverse: look up multiple references in a single translation.
For example, I'm reading a paper that lists several references in a footnote, I'd like to copy that list of references and pull all of them up at the same time instead of one at a time.
1 voteIf the references are already in a resource in Logos, use Power Lookup e.g., https://community.logos.com/forums/t/134590.aspx https://wiki.logos.com/Power_Lookup
If you have to type the references in, use a Passage List: https://wiki.logos.com/Passage_List

Change NASB95 in 7 to have one-line verses and chapter headings. Do not like new view!
The NASB95 has changed in Logos 7. You cannot view it like the print editions with one-line verses and chapter headings.
1 voteUse the “One verse per line” setting in the “Bible text only” visual filter: https://www.logos.com/training/logos6/desktop/bible-text-only

Microsoft Word doesn’t support Logos 7’s rich formatting features, so it’s technically not possible to copy the visual filter output into a Word document.
However, depending on the complexity of the formatting, you may be able to get good enough results by exporting to PDF, then opening that PDF file in Word 2016.

Modify the library
The library in ver 2.1 was much better. All my Bibles were together. All my commentaries were together. Same for the church fathers. Bring back the old days
1 voteIn the Library, click the View button to switch to Details view. Then click the Type column to sort and group resources together by type.

Add Letter Size Option
. Large print Bibles are made for a purpose. Not everyone has 20/20 vision and many people, regardless of age, have difficulty reading smaller print
1 voteYou can use Program Scaling (in Program Settings) to make all text in Logos 7 larger, or the Content Scaling setting to make all resource text larger, or adjust the size of an individual resource with the text size slider at the top of the panel menu.

Buying both untagged and tagged books from Logos.
Buy an untagged reference work, commentary, theology, etc. It will be a while before it will be tagged because of many books and limited human resources. But get the book in the Logos library untagged so that we can atleast read it. Then when it is tagged give us credit for the untagged book when we purchase the tagged book.
1 voteThis is how Vyrso works: https://vyrso.com/about
EPUBs from major publishers are converted into Logos format with automatic Bible verse tagging. If it’s ever “promoted” to a Logos edition with full tagging, you can upgrade for free.
