I suggest you ...

Import/Export notes to/from Evernote.

It would be nice if Logos (both PC and iPad/iPhone/iPod versions) could import/export notes to/from Evernote. If possible the format should be compatible with OliveTree's BibleReader so the notes can be portable between applications.

I would love to be able to import/export notes, but I rarely use Evernote. I have a Surface tablet and use OneNote due to the compatibility with Word.

It'd be sweet if your Evernote content would just show up in a native logos search under one of those heading things. All of those wonderful articles that I have saved from across the internet, and notes that I have taken, integrated into logos would be super sweet. From seeing other applications that can access Evernote content in their apps, it seems like that would be possible.

So, basically, I'd like to see more like, "Evernote Integration" rather than just import/export notes.

I agree that this would be useful. Although Logos has added functionality to notes over the last several releases, but it would not be efficient for Logos to develop note-taking as a core competency: it does so many other things well. Let a note-taking app take this burden.
I developed (but never released) a tight integration between Logos 3 notes and Mindjet's Mindmanager--it could record notes from the Logos UI, store them in a Mindmanager file, and display them in the Logos UI. It also could record search results with links to Logos resources, which the user could sort and annotate freely in MindManager.
But, alas, the Logos 4 api is much more limited. As it stands, the public API does not allow for this level of integration.
I'd like to help with this, if it ever happens.

This would be amazing! I worry that it won't ever get done, since it was suggested in 2010... but i am hurting for a way to integrate my evernote and logos accounts!

I would say "Here Here!" Evernote is ALWAYS open when I am working in Logos. In addition, it easily can contain graphics...something Logos Notes do not do easily.

YES! Please. Maybe this could be integrated in a context menu where a lighted piece of text could be sent to evernote.

Please do consider being able to import and export notes. I have more than a third of the verses from my old Bible software (Quick Verse 4, I stayed with it for this very reason) notated. I was able to process the export with a VBS script, but the result is a static book, not a note.

I would prefer OneNote over EverNote, simply because it's more compatible with Word, and it's a more powerful note package. What might be a better solution than making notes within Logos compatible with one package, or even making Logos into a full featured note taking software package, would be to look at features that allow users to more easily link Logos and these outside software packages, like this one:

    Just a thought...

I've been using Logos for 8 years and I love a lot of the features in the software. But since most of my electronic organization revolves around Evernote rather than by using the note files and clippings, this would be a great feature. I still like having the dedicated note file option in Logos since these are searchable, but an Evernote option (like Logos already has with Faithlife, Tweitter, and FB), would be a great addition. I do already use the control-alt-v option with copied text from Logos.

yes, yes, yes! I switched to writing out all my original verse notes in Evernote because they sync immediately to all my other devices and because Logos notes was often sluggish though I think that's been improved. This feature would be awesome.

I use Evernote every day, it is the way I organize and remember the content that is most important to me. It is the system that I have chosen, and will stay with. Integrating Logos with Evernote would be a great help. Please consider this request.

A second/third/fourth the previous comments, but please make it a full sync service between Logos notes and Evernote, not just an import/export facility.
I don't mind if it is tied to a specific notebook or not.

I am in total agreement. It would make the Logos program that much more valuable to me.

I agree. Being able to right click an article or paragraph to Evernote would be very valuable to me.

Yes, please!!!!!!! This functionality would make Logos beyond incredibly awesome. Throw in integration with the Evernote tagging system and you've got yourself a super easy and powerful method of managing personalized content.
