Add Option To Hide Entire Row of Resource Panel Elements Located Beneath Panel Tab (Book Cover Icon, Reference Box, Toolbar, etc.)
Add an option to hide the entire row of Resource Panel elements located beneath the Panel Tab and above the Locator Bar (Book Cover Icon, Reference Box, Toolbar, Back/Forward Arrows, History Drop-down, and Info button). This could be accomplished by adding an option within the Resource Panel Menu (perhaps titled “Show Expanded View”). A corresponding one click keyboard shortcut as well as a single mouse click on the Panel Tab of any opened resource could be used to toggle this option on or off.
This option would noticeably increase the panel reading space within a normal multi-tiled layout while keeping the functionality of the panel menu, reference box, toolbar, back/forward arrows, history drop-down, and Info button only one click away. The current Reading View mode is excellent for reading long articles or passages of a single resource but does not represent a viable alternative to this suggestion since efficient and full use of the program requires operating within a normal multi-tiled workspace much of the time.
This suggestion will also benefit users with eye sensitivities who may find one or more of the growing number of feature buttons within the Resource Panel Toolbar to be uncomfortably distracting.

I now believe the primary way of turning this option “on” or “off” should be a single mouse click either (1) on the Panel Tab of an opened resource panel, or (2) within any empty space of the main text area of an opened resource panel.
I still believe adding this option to the Panel Menu would be helpful as well, but a single mouse click would be the most efficient method of control.
