Logos iBless Registry (new way of using wish lists)
Would like to see the wishlists operate in some other ways:
1) like Amazon, shareable with anyone. This enables friends and family to purchase directly on behalf of the logos account holder. They get to 'see' what they're purchasing and not an impersonal gift card. Add a 'tag' in the "about information window" (where the citations are located) that cites the donor's name/info. This way a pastor or others will always remember in their library who the gift came from (e.g. FBC Men's Ministry, Mom, Dad, etc.).
2.) Like a wedding registry (self-explanatory, I think)
3.) Allow partial payments similar to a fundraising campaign. For example, what if the church wanted to buy a commentary series or something expensive for their pastor. Each person could login and see the series, read about it, understand what they're giving and see how close the item is to being purchased. Perhaps they'll give a small amount, or perhaps they'll give more to help 'close the gap' in an effort to help push the collective purchase over the finish line for their pastor. This is more personal than saving up a $1000 gift card, and allows people to give when they have the time, 24/7, not just when they remember cash or a checkbook, etc. at church.
