Add Dewey Classification sort field to Library
L4 needs a sort field added to the library--one with Dewey Decimal System numbers. Since Logos provides a real library, you should also provide a way to organize it like a real one.

I don't understand why this is not already implemented. How hard would it be to have a field that would display for each resource that is easily editable. The MyTag feature would not be appropriate - this needs to be something that you can just click on and edit, without having to click on this, click on that, etc.

I would prefer the Congressional Cataloguing system, but anything would be better than the current setup. Even categorizing a library by Logos' pre-made "type" category is only partially helpful when it leaves one with a dizzying number of mere "monographs". I do like the customizable idea below, too. Thanks, anonymous.

And make them customizable as well. The beauty of a library is that you can arrange the books however you like. Make them so they all have a default classification, and then you can change it so that on your computer it has a different one.

Based on feedback in the user forums, I would like to amend my suggestion to Logos providing both Dewey and Library of Congress numbers, so the user can select which standard library shelving system they would like to use.
