Stablize Word Lists
Adding the same word twice no longer works. Was working fine in Sept when adding “another word list.” Now this option fails and COMPLETELY CRASHES Logos every single time.
I noticed this and reported it to Logos in September. It’s still broken
In September I found another workaround (Merge—>Union), but this option now FORCES both entries
Why same word twice? Ask your greek guys. Genitive and accusative nouns, often use exactly the same word but have vastly different meanings.
Now Merge—>Union FORCES both entries into a single row. Not helpful for flash-card study.
I called about this today and the representative simply said, “It all very complicate, easier said than done to fix.”
Ummm. Okay…. Then perhaps you should REMOVE THE OPTION for “another word list,” It crashes your program every time. Don’t you care? She didn’t. However, I do. I have spent a ton of money on this system, and it’s highly annoying when something works one day, the next day it crashes the program, and eight weeks after reporting the bug it STILL crashes the program.
In the end, it is not intelligent to force multiple entries of the same word onto a single row/card. Think about how flash-card study works. You want to be able to address the two like works seperately.
Fixes for the problems you’ve reported are included in Logos 6.7.

That's super encouraging. I was wondering what happened. As I mentioned, it was working before. (although I think command-z [undo] in Word List has always crashed Logos---just FYI)
