add a functionality to notes so that attaching a note to a word in a book or Bible is less cumbersome and without having to color to word
Currently, I have to highlight and color the word I want to attach a note to. It then puts the note in the color document or I have to select the most recently used note file. Too much work. But even if I have to choose a recent note I have used let me add the note with a note indicator without having to color the word. If I want to attach notes to different words my text become a color patchwork quilt of sorts.

I think you can accomplish what you want by creating a custom Highlighting Palette. Please post in our community forums for assistance: https://community.logos.com/forums/124.aspx

I still believe that what you want to do can be accomplished by creating and using a custom highlighting style (which does not require all notes to be "stored in that custom highlighted note"). We can't easily provide support through UserVoice, so again I recommend asking for help on our Community Forums.

Thank you and I had a chat with your tech service person who suggested that but it was more of a nightmare than a real help. Because creating a custom HIghlighting palette also requires that created note is stored in that custom highlighted note. What I want and what should be easy to accomplish is to create a note (and I'm willing to compromise with the note being one I create like Notes for each Bible book) with a marker icon that can attach to a word or passage without requiring me to highlight the text with an underline or color.
