This is a great idea that would be a great help with people I'm working with. Plus, I think the exposure would lead to more folks using Logos. I sometimes do NOT buy a book in Logos for this very reason - can't share/loan it to anyone. I think it's appropriate that I would lose access while on loan, just like a paper book from my library. Plus the added benefit of digital - I don't have to go get it back when they 'forget' to return it :)

Seems a no-brainer to me...would help in ministry aides to be able to share a resource that someone could read and purchase after they read it and liked it, but shared their thoughts for further conversion.

I want to tell you that I really enjoy Logos. I am now used to reading on my computer and love how easy it is to look of cross-references, verses, and use multiple resources at the same time.

The thing that I miss from paper books is the ability to lend them to friends. Wouldn't it be great if there was a way to "lend" out my library to others, for a period of time? They wouldn't retain the resource, they would just get access for a few weeks.

I would like to suggest that in future versions we could lend Logos books to other users.

The book could be borrowed and at that time the borrower would be unable to use the book unless he took it back, as on a physical loan.

Maybe you could have set up the loan time and the automatic book return. And a button for the owner to receive the book immediately when they want just a click.

I think it would be a very interesting function to consider and study for future updates.

Absolutely would love this as a feature! I believe it would be to Logos's advantage to facilitate this as it would enable users to lend a resource (for a fixed period) to someone who is not a Logos user at present which would introduce the lendee to the software. This feature would increase exposure.

LENDING / BORROWING Resources. Great idea!

As noted above, this is something that Amazon has worked with Kindle out whereby a person who has purchased a book and electronically "lend" it to another person.
One key part of that process is that resources are lending only for a FIXED period of time.

I know that the company would prefer to sell a resource, however, at times "borrowing" a resource is all that is needed.
AND, this idea has the potential to actually sell more resources; at times I'm thinking of buying a resource, but am not sure if it really fits my need. Likewise there are times that I must be really, really sure due to the cost - borrowing it for a fixed time would very much help in my decision making.
