1. Highlight the word being spoken by the Narrator Voice in real-time as it is spoken. This is a very basic feature that would greatly enhance the listening experience. (I realize this is does exist for select audio book titles, but there is no real reason it can't exist for all titles licensed for Read Aloud functionality...see my comment below about Balabolka's functionality)

2. Fix scrolling issues. Currently when Read Aloud is engaged the active book scrolling only loosely follows the words read aloud. The narrator will often continue reading a paragraph or so below where the active book (the one being read aloud) is displaying (so you can't see the words being read aloud).

3. Include a reading speed sliding-scale to allow for more speeds of reading. Currently the options are fairly limited.

4. Improve the control panel for Read Aloud so you can modify the MS Narrator voice within Logos, use the speed sliding-scale mentioned in #3 above, and control any other pertinent settings.

The FREE program Balabolka (http://www.cross-plus-a.com/balabolka.htm) is the prime example of great Read Aloud functionality. Sadly, right now I copy and paste things out of Logos into Balabolka just because Logos doesn't have the functionality to make Read Aloud viable. Though I think the above changes would be fairly simple to make and would greatly improve the reading experience for so many users. With the improved free Narrator MS voice (Eva), Read Aloud makes text to audio a realistic alternative to reading and I believe many users would opt to have books read to them if they only knew how good the new MS Eva voice is (or other new SAPI 5 voices like IVONA voices). Please add this functionality. Many of us would be very grateful!
