READ ALOUD English Bible in human voice. Ex: Max MacLean reading ESV on biblegateway.vp,
Microsoft Anna voice is... unpleasant... to say the least. Logos offers a product to read the Greek Bible aloud, so the technology is there even if Microsoft won't add additional voices. I suggest listening to Max MacLean read a few verses at biblegate.com:
Enter the site, use the drop down box to select English Standard Version, and type 1 Peter 1 in the search box.
Click the speaker icon just above the text, turn the volume up, sit back and enjoy.
Logos is not only losing revenue from visually impaired users (er, potential users), but it is poor service to ignore the hundreds of posts on user forums complaining about the Read Aloud feature in Logos 4. Pretty please?
The ESV is now available as an audio Bible: https://www.logos.com/product/34146/esv-hear-the-word-audio-bible
This is a free download for existing ESV owners.
(Audio versions of other Bibles should be available in the future as we license the media.)

You can buy third-party readers. I use an IVONA text-to-speech voice that I got from a package called FlameReader.

Someone sent me this link and I do appreciate their efforts however I tend to side with Logos. I have used many text to speech programs over 10 + years and seen the improvements over these years but gauging from what I have it still lacks the potential to read complex text such as commentaries where there are many comments and appendages added. The authors do not follow the same formats. This would take up a time consuming effort to train a text to speech program to recognize many abbreviated words and read them in a natural speaking form.
I use the text to speech programs because frankly I am an unlearned, uneducated individual with some learning difficulties. Mainly in reading. I would be delighted to have bible software that where I could use a text to speech application but I know what Logo's is up against.
For now I use what I have. I can edit out many of the abbreviations with macros in my MS Word 2010 program and then use my text to speech natural speaking program. It's not ideal but it works.

Apologies for the fat-fingered URL, it should read: http://www.biblegateway.com
