Improve highlighting performance for serious users

Logos 4.5 added significant performance enhancements for highlighting. I’m considering this completed because there haven’t been many votes for this suggestion or posts in the forum (about highlighting performance) since Logos 4.5 shipped.

Please put style names in title section of Palette note files. then we can sort and group by title plus go to specific markups in various resources.

I have the same problem with highlighting. I only have 3 to 4 books marked and it is taking from 10 to 15 second to complete the marking. I do hear that 4.5 is going to address and I look forward to it. We drive a Miata when we travel and it is nice to only bring my laptop and leave my big Bible at home.

I am not doing Precept, but just doing my own bible studies, it is already slow in the mark up. It will be good to speed up the mark up as it facilitate the studies and also help me to be more willing to do mark up; now I am saving my mark up as it may slow down my studies.

Marking the Bible is something I teach my students to do and in recommending Logos to them, this will be a plus point in your favour but NOT if it takes several seconds as Lim JK says. I normally mark only the NAS95.

If you do serious markup such as those who do Precept's studies, you will quickly discovered that you will need to wait 5 to 15 seconds for marking or erasing a mark for a word or a phrase.
You will not see this problem if you are doing very casual markup.
