Night Mode for PC/Mac
While I frequently use "Night Mode" to read on my ipad, I find that there are times that it would be immensely useful to have the same ability on a PC/Mac.
Perhaps, in the "Resource Panel Background Settings" area you could add the ability to select a black background with white text when reading at night.
Another route would be to make a simple button on the menu bar for "Night Mode".

Done in Logos 9.

Many constant use apps including web browsers offer a Dark Mode. Please work this into a Logos update.

Yes. Please add this feature. It's tough enough that Logos doesn't support touchscreen, but at least... dark mode is something that should be made a priority. I find myself using YouVersion in dark mode just so I can read a while without as much eye strain. Thank you.

For my job, I stare at a computer screen all day. Thankfully, I am able to set most of the applications that I use to "dark mode", which helps my eyes endure a long day in front of the screen. When using Logos, the biggest issue I have with long term use is that my eyes start to hurt after a short while. Considering that the primary focus of Logos is reading text, dark mode is essential for power users. This is especially true when I view Logos on a large monitor. Please consider adding this feature soon. Thanks!

I would appreciate a dark mode option for Logos. It is one of the main reasons why, despite having many resources on this platform, I use other platforms first (Olive Tree, etc) which allow for that function, which makes reading smooth. I like Logos very much, and having the dark mode option would make a great difference on user experience for many, especially those with struggling eyes.

What I have come to realize is that it seems our standard of 'dark font on bright background' was influenced by the legacy of physical media which it replicates. But screens don't have the same limitations paper does! In hind sight, it's actually silly that we standardized around blasting bright white light everywhere that doesn't matter (the background) and using black for what matters (the content). In fact, it's kind of funny that we describe the theme by the irrelevant background color instead of the relevant content color. If we changed our focus to the color of the content, we could call it 'light mode!' Because the Bible text would be white!
So, yeah, I'm an advocate for dark mode--or 'light mode' if you will!

As a new user of Logos, I would greatly appreciate a dark, or night mode for the software. Most of my research occurs during the late hours and my aging eyes don't handle the brightness as they once did.

Hi. I would like to move off of iPad and go with a Surface Pro device. I'm pretty much hooked on the NIV app that features dark mode. I can't find any good Bible software for PC other than Logos, but very disappointed to see that dark mode is not supported, when just about everything supports dark mode these days. I definitely vote for this feature and will buy/use this software when this option is available. Thanks!

Honestly, how is this feature not implemented in a high-powered application such as LOGOS? If anything, this is an handicap/accessibility requirement. This feature is pretty easy to implement programmatically just add black background and white text (flip the bits) on the reading panes... It's such an issue for me that I posted a comment - and I never post comments anywhere as a rule. I voted the max, but why'd I have to in the first place is the real question.

I see other bible software like Olive Tree that has had this feature available for years already. Please bring it to PC/Mac! 3 votes!

I just started Logos for the first time at 11:55 PM and it's quite bright! About to retreat to Night Mode with the iPad apps instead of using my Mac because it's just too bright.

"Night Mode" has been one of the most important features to me for virtually any software I buy for the last 10 years or so... 3 votes!

Logos needs a dark mode. I used 3 votes to show that I'm Dixie Chicks serious about this feature.

Eye-strain, battery life (you can dim dark mode quite a bit more than light mode and still have very legible text), and consistency between mobile platforms all point to this being a key feature. Additionally, as has been said, the primary focus of this application is for analyzing text, so I'm surprised this hasn't been implemented already, as it would seem that anything that could help with focus and eyestrain would be a priority (just as much, perhaps more so than the currently implemented Reading Mode). Even if it wasn't connected to the system UI officially, just having the ability to invert the colors WITHIN THE APPLICATION would be so, so helpful for us who use this application late into the night. Inverting my system colors works, but is clumsy. Please implement a "dark mode," night mode, or the ability to customize font and background colors.

I have spent thousands of dollars on Logos over the years but seldom use it because of Dark Mode. Until this feature I do not recommend this product to others. Too much eye strain.

As a content "reading" application, Logos should implement the night-mode (dark-mode) for reducing the eyestrain. It's not a fashion, but an essential function.

Sorry Adam, your suggested wiki link "https://wiki.logos.com/Night_Mode" is broke or does not work! I get a Whoops! in return...
