Night Mode for PC/Mac
While I frequently use "Night Mode" to read on my ipad, I find that there are times that it would be immensely useful to have the same ability on a PC/Mac.
Perhaps, in the "Resource Panel Background Settings" area you could add the ability to select a black background with white text when reading at night.
Another route would be to make a simple button on the menu bar for "Night Mode".

Done in Logos 9.

For those of us with visual impairment, making text bigger while not losing functionality is only part of the game. White text on black background is wonderful and a big reason why, at this point, I will not switch from Kindle to Logos despite fewer features in Kindle.

This is a software made for serious study for people who want so seriously to study that they have paid a good deal of money to be able to do so. More often than not, my time with the software is cut short from eye-strain. A dark mode as well as an amber mode with this type (text dependent) of software should be a given at this level of developement. I'm questioning my purchase. It's amazing but what good is it if I can't use it because it causes eyestrain and migraines.
Furthermore, it seems that you are ignoring a large base of customers who have very kindly and with good laid-out reasons requested this function, because you won't even respond to these comments. So, please give us an update or have the decency to give us a direct denial. -

Can we get a Customer Representative give us an update if the development team is even planning on working on this? Not sure if this is being ignored. The Logos bible app dark mode is amazing in Android. I wish they could bring it to desktop

Hi Logos service team. As you know the software is mostly based on reading for many hours. This can strain our eyes, hence even OS's are introducing 'dark mode'. The Logos program ranges from $70 to well over $5,000 .. Therefore the higher the price, the more likely the individual will spend time on it reading.
We the community, whether it's someone using the free version, the cheaper version or the full version really ask for a dark mode.
I can imagine this little feature may even increase your sales, it shows that the software is not only serious about the volume of books, but also takes into account the user when it comes to reading at night.
I understand that it's probably easier said than done. But I trust and pray that your team, who I'm sure can also benefit of this dark mode feature will be able to do it in due time. Thank you.

I have literally chosen not to open Logos some nights because I don't want to be greeted by a full screen of retina-burn. Native dark mode would make it much more enjoyable to meditate on the Law of the LORD day and night!

I will not recommend Logos 8 to anyone until dark mode is added. I stopped using mine because of eye strain.

I quit using logos 8 for most things because of not having dark mode. Please Add. My eyes are sensitive to light.

Logos Dark Mode seems like a given now that Mac OS, iOS, and iPad OS support it. It's currently the only white screen on my whole desktop. I'd love to see the option to for a the scripture to be light in a dark mode!

Dark more should be app specific and should not put the whole system in Dark mode. Also inverted colors is not what is being requested. A Dark UI its bing requested. Also, this does not work extended displays.
I in fact I want a dark mode for Logos during the day as it is easier on the eyes for extended reading. Please revisit this issue.

The problem with Magnifier and the other suggestions the admin made is that I already have applications that run in dark mode and they look perfect the way they are. The suggestions on the Logos wiki seem like bad work-arounds and I would rather avoid having to do a system-wide change for this one program.
I would prefer a dark gray with off-white text. It is easier on the eyes than black and white. Of course, being able to change the colors to whatever you want would be best.
This appears to be one of the most requested features. There is another request here: https://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-5/suggestions/6120060-add-themes-to-personalize-colors-colours-and-impro

Being able to change the colors to whatever you want would be much better, but at least a dark gray mode with off-white text would be something.

Dark Mode please. I'm studying tonight for a couple of hours and the white panel is straining in the eyes. Please make it like the Android app dark mode. It's 2019, going to 2020 now guys. Please make it as a priority.
