User generated data: timelines
Implement user developed and shared timelines as a prototype for the broader project of user generated data.
We do not plan to support user-generated timelines.

Would like to be able to export complex timelines. That is, I would like to be able to link both reference work sections and my notes on those sections to timeline events. This would make a great teaching tool because everything could be exported into one Word document in chronlogical order.

Would love to see this feature. I'm using a really cheesy timeline creator software from the 90's to do something that it feels like Logos should do a lot better. :)

One of your competitors has a fully editable timeline in their product for much less cost than Logos. Your personal book builder is excellent and justifies some of the cost difference. But still your timeline should be fully editable for this price. Does your timeline have events that occurred before the creation of man such as the creation of angels or the rebellion of Lucifer. These events don't have a known date but still should be on the timeline. What about the correct dates for events in Christ's life (b. 4BC, start ministry - 27 AD, d. Wednesday, 31AD buried Wednesday resurrected Saturday-- 3 days and 3 nights as stated in the Bible). Or what about the 2520 yrs of Israel's punishment (7 times more Lev 26:18) from 721-718 BC to 1800-1803 AD) and the 2520 yrs that Jerusalem would be controlled by Gentiles from 604BC-1917AD when the British (part of the Israelite tribe of Joseph) captured it. And what about the forecasting of the Great Tribulation through 1260 years from 554 -1814 when the beast persecuted Christians foreshadowing the coming 1260 days of the Great Tribulation? How about the deadly wound (Western Roman Empire ceases in 476AD) and the wound being healed (Rome restored to Christian rulers in 554 AD)? What about Rev 17:10? Does your timeline show the five who are fallen and the one that is (was at the time when this passage was first understood in the 1930s)? I'm sure that these kings are in your timeline but I would also guess that they are not recognized for who they were. These and many other things (such as news events of fulfilled prophecy) could be added to the timeline but should not be forced on those who don't agree with them.
Also people should be able to add personal things such as the date of one's baptism.
Making the timeline completely editable should be a very high priority even though it will require a large amount of your resources. I will not be able to consider Logos to be a fully mature program until the timeline is fully editable especially since a far less costly competitor program already has a fully edible timeline. -
