Install only selected resources to save disk space
I have an SSD hard drive on a laptop and I can't be downloading 5GB of files, then have logos create an index that is 6 GB. My Logos and related folders took 13GB of my 128GB total.
Tech support said they don't have a solution.

Is selective download ready to go? I just tried to download, and the only option was "Everything", although the text above the box suggested that I could only download some of them (as highlighted in the article above).
And, THANK YOU for making this option available. I can't wait to use Logos again!

Also, it would be helpful if the resource location can be customized. My laptop has a limited SSD and a large HD; by the time the SSD gets too full, I'd like to put the Logos resources on the HD. For others, it may be the choice between internal (tablet) memory and a micro-SD.
(If this option is already available, please let me know. I haven't been able to find it.) -

My data plan is limited and allows only 15 G of download per month. Please do not allow automatic download of resources. Let me choose.

This would also be VERY helpful for people in countries with limited Internet access!

In addition to the reasons the original poster gave, I would add these:
1. Many resources from bundled collections never get used.
2. If you live in a location where you have a limited Internet connection installing Logos may push you over your monthly cap. -

I'm using biblia.com exclusively because I can't afford the drive space on my Macbook Pro.

I concur with the others that this is a needed feature, but I would add that it would be helpful to select and install resources by device rather than globally. Besides tablets and phones, I use a desktop (where I don't mind all of the books and resources being available), I also use an ultra notebook with limited resources and if I could simply have a few hundred books, it would be sufficient for my needs when traveling.

This is URGENTLY needed! The logos sales reps have done a great job convincing me to "save money" by spending more money and purchasing big resource bundles. But now Logos is too big (67 GB) for me to even install on my laptop. I wish I had just purchased the books I actually wanted, at least then I'd be able to use Logos while out of my office.

Similarly: I'd like to be able either to download only the items in a prod. I want (e.g. 'full feature set') or to hide the 80% I don't want en masse once it arrives.

This is crucial in this day and age. I no longer use a traditional pc or laptop and depend fully on a Microsoft Surface. I only use a handful of resources and have not used Logos in almost 2 years. I hate that all that money is wasted as it feels like I have not been a good steward.

Please do not install the same books twice when two licensed users use the same resources on a machine. Allow the books to be placed on a drive other than the Operating System Drive (Windows) without manual creation of NTFS junctions. Recovery from an operating system problem is a lot easier if the OS is on its own drive. Non-tech users do not understand NTFS junctions and may fill their System Drive during a default installation. Perhaps the process of hiding a book means that the book is no longer physically present on the machine... or consider using hierarchical storage (book downloads on demand to read it). Perhaps books in the priority list are permanently present, but others are not.

I also would very much appreciate the ability to do a "selected resources only" download on Windows. I've asked about this through the years and would love to see it come to fruition - soon.

I am desperate for this. It makes me crazy that I can't properly run Logos on my Surface Pro 3. If I don't need a resource local, the program should be smart enough to accommodate that. Like the iOS and Android apps do.

Is this ever going to be implemented? I've been using Accordance on my laptop, because I can't fit my entire Logos library on it.

Same. Logos Software uses SO MUCH hard drive space on my Macbook Air. I am planning to return Lexham Master Bundle simply because I do not have space for them.
