introduce option to export resources to an e-reader (e.g. the Kindle), ideally with functional notes
Send to Kindle is available in Logos 6 and Verbum 6: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/92620.aspx

I know the kindle is only mentioned as an example but if any Logos people read this don't forget all the e-ink readers that are not kindle and do not use its .mobi format.

This would be so useful!

This would be a fantastic feature. Of all the e-book readers, the kindle is definitely the easiest on the eyes, which means longer periods of reading before fatigue.

E-readers make Logos books so much more enjoyable to read and enticing to purchase. A Kindle-optimized version of Biblia would be ideal if it worked smoothly. But even a simple "Export to Mobi/Epub" with some link/footnote functionality would be really nice.

Let me add my votes for Nook Color as well. I have several 'books' I'd like to read not study through but the computer makes it difficult. My nook would be great.

Add the Nook to this list....sometimes I can't take the pc with me but need one or two resources to research while out.

I agree! Kindle and other e-ink readers for ease of eye strain.

This would be the best improvement of logos i can imagine at he moment. A electronic library must be able to be read on the top electronic readers. So, something like a Vysro app or a Logos App for Kindle would be great. An export feature that easily formats the logos book into a common format like epub or mobi would be very good as well (even if you loose some links to other logos recources then).

I export some sections I need to read to my Kindle regularly (export as RTF and email to my device) - what I really need is the notes and highlights syncing with them. That would actually prompt me to buy a book from Logos rather than the (often cheaper) Kindle version from Amazon because I could use it across platforms.

I really like my Kindle...I would love to have the ability to read some of my resources on it!

When Logos first came out the PC was a sensible choice as most portable readedrs (such as PalmOS) were at best clever gadgets. Now however eBook readers such as the Kindle give a nuch better book reading solution than sitting at a PC. The iPhone display is unusable in sunlight whereas a Kindle works fine.

Far more important than improving note in L4.

I recently purchased a Kindle and love it. For me the Kindle is by far the best reading experience I have ever had. I really don’t think all the functionality that is found in the iPhone/iPad app is necessary. I have an iPhone and I just use the app for reading. The idea would be a Kindle app that would allow you to read Logos book and sync notes. The next best thing would be to have a Kindle optimized mode for biblia.com. The current mobile mode of biblia.com just does not work that well with the Kindle. A distant third option in my opinion would be a mobi export function built into Logos 4. The down side of this last option is that it would not support the syncing of notes.

I would LOVE to have an easy way to access my Logos library on a Kindle. I have an iPhone and love the portability but the screen size, backlight, and battery life keep me from doing too much reaching on it. I've tried Logos on friend's iPad's and the functionality is great but I'd much prefer e-ink, battery life, etc. Kindle can't ever touch Logos when it comes to research & reference intigration. I'll always buy reference materials on Logos but if Logos would like to get my business when I go to buy non-research books (like the John Piper collection) as well, they need a Kindle app. The app doesn't have to have the "research functionality," just the text. But in order for it to make sense to keep all my books under one roof, Logos needs a Kindle app.

This would be a very smart step into the future to open a door to kindle so that the books could be read by Logos customers.

I understand that there are technical issues with getting a lot of "Logos function" into the Kindle platform but at least make my monographs ebooks that Kindle can read so that I can use a better reader than the iPad (my eyes are already tired from Bible study) - allowing highlights and notes to be moved back from my Kindle to Logos would be even sweeter but I will be happy with the option of using another (and I think better) reader for some resources.

Yes! To be able to the Kindle read the books we've already purchased on Logos would be great!
