I now believe the primary way of turning this option “on” or “off” should be a single mouse click either (1) on the Panel Tab of an opened resource panel, or (2) within any empty space of the main text area of an opened resource panel.

I still believe adding this option to the Panel Menu would be helpful as well, but a single mouse click would be the most efficient method of control.

In addition to the previously submitted options, I would like to offer the following Option #4: Provide users with a program setting to hide or "turn off" all book cover icons when the resource is opened. (The Panel Tab already identifies the resource.)

In view of the fact this issue continues to persist, I recommend the following option #3: Allow users to hide the image of the Bible book cover icon and instead “show label” reflecting the Bible translation’s standard initials (ESV, LEB) as is currently available for shortcut icons within the Shortcuts Bar.

For my particular vision needs, the current color scheme is perfect. My eyes do not tolerate vivid colors on a computer screen well. Changing the active panel tab’s top ribbon to a vivid color would be so distracting for my eyes that I would no longer be able to use the program. I therefore respectfully cannot support this UserVoice suggestion.

Perhaps a way to satisfy all users’ visual needs would be to make no changes to the current default color of the active panel tab’s top ribbon, but add a user controlled option to select a different ribbon color from a set of available choices. This could be a helpful option, as long as the ribbon’s current gray color remains the default choice.

Since purchasing Logos approximately 6 months ago, I've struggled to find a comfortable font style and size especially for Bible reading. I was unaware that there had previously been more of a variety of options, so I definitely support your recommendations.
