Voice: Who is speaking: Feature improvement suggestion
Nice to have the new feature for Logos showing for each quotation in the text who is speaking, I appreciate it, especially for the less obvious voices. However, I would like to suggest an improvement which should not been too difficult to implement and would add considerably to its value.
The "Connect the Testaments" devotional for today has us read 1 Corinthians 3:1-21 (ie: all of chapter 3). While many of the Bible voices are obvious, when it comes to verses 19 and 20 it is not quite as obvious to most of us:
19 For it is written, "He catches the wise in their craftiness,"
20 and again, "The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile."
The voice popup for verse 19 says that the quotation is of Eliphaz the Temanite (friend of Job), that for verse 20 merely says "Psalmist".
While it is easy enough for us to have open in parallel our copy of Beale and Carson (commentary on the NT use of the OT) COMNTUSEOT.logos4 it would be so much more helpful if the voice pop-up could directly point us to Job 5:13 instead of just saying it is a quote of Eliphaz and directly point us to Ps 94.11 rather than just saying "Psalmist" in the pop-up.
Would be a great additional feature to have the pop-up have a symbol to open Beale and Carson if the voice is indeed a NT quote of the OT.
