LENDING / BORROWING Resources. Great idea!

As noted above, this is something that Amazon has worked with Kindle out whereby a person who has purchased a book and electronically "lend" it to another person.
One key part of that process is that resources are lending only for a FIXED period of time.

I know that the company would prefer to sell a resource, however, at times "borrowing" a resource is all that is needed.
AND, this idea has the potential to actually sell more resources; at times I'm thinking of buying a resource, but am not sure if it really fits my need. Likewise there are times that I must be really, really sure due to the cost - borrowing it for a fixed time would very much help in my decision making.

Thank you for your consideration of this proposal!

    Great idea!
AND, I would like to suggest another, similar idea but "completely different" idea: resource lending. (sorry if there is an existing thread about this)

(At times I'm thinking of buying a resource but am not sure if it really fits my need, or, for the price, I must be really, really sure that it will fit my need. Borrowing it for a fixed time would very much help in my decision making.
I am also going to make this a separate post, and so would invite the moderator to delete one of the posts as fitting. Thank you!
