2. cross reference funtionality

   I would like to make my own cross references. This is possible in a sense already, but it is anything but elegant.

   Something that really bothers me is the inability to view a note or reference as a tooltip/pop-up on my PC. This works in Android! You tap a note icon in the Bible text and the note opens above the text. You can tap a reference in the note and it will open the reference above the bible text so that you can easily continue reading where you left off.

   For some reason, this is not possible on a PC. If you hover over the note icon, it shows the content, but you cannot interact with it (i.e. click a reference). If you click on it, it opens the note, which is nice, but even there, you have to go over to your notes window, hover over the link (which is finicky on a PC) or ctrl+click (which makes your bible jump to the new passage) to open it. To return to my reading, I have to click the back button.

   I realize that may seem nit-picky, but the window hopping gets old after awhile. Instead of very little mouse movement and maybe 1 click to view everything and continue reading, I have to jump from window to window and do about 6 clicks (or more depending on how many references are involved).

   There is no good reason to not implement notes the same way as cross references - and it's already working in Android!

   The same goes for labels. I can make a highlighter that acts like a personal cross reference, but I can't interact with the pop-up! So I've got a cross reference I can see while I hover, but I can't click on it to read the passage. So frustrating!

   So please, please, PLEASE add this! If I haven't been clear enough, feel free to ask for clarification.

4. In the Document have option for title and notebook sorting

   If I want to find a particular note title I cannot find it unless I remember my note in the verse. I can find the notebook in the document tab but there is not place for me to find or make note title within the notebook

6. Arrange CTA for being more user friendly in Prayer List section

   First of all, thanks for making this great product. I love the prayer list function and display prayer list when I launch Logos. However, I hope the "Add Prayer" reposition to where more intuitive. Also, I think it would be better I can set frequency on the prayer list level so that I can have "family prayer list", "small group prayer list", "church prayer list"....

7. why not right click a highlighted text and have a Lectio Divina option open?

   just as a highlighted text can be a note, a Lectio Divina workflow can also be opened

8. Youtube Integration (or Logos/Verbumtube)

   I know my idea involves some legal issues. Maybe this can be limited to those who are subscribed to Youtube's Red service or maybe there can be a pool of Youtuber's whom have given permission for their content to be used in this manner. With that said my idea is that once subscribed to a Youtube Channel Logos can have a Card on the Home Page called Youtube Subscriptions. This will notify you when a new video has been added. Once selected the Video then opens up in a Logos page. On that page I would be able to capture and download the video to my library and take notes on the content of the video as well as capture comments I want to keep. The work around on this idea is that Logos can have it's own "Youtube" service where Content Providers can upload the same video to. Once on Logos server the video becomes available as a channel much the same way as on Youtube with subscribers allowed to make comments on the video. In fact, this would be a good way for the Content Provider to interact with their audience and vice versa. Courses could be built around these videos utilizing the user's library resources etc. Making the Logos owners Library that much more valuable. I certainly would pay a yearly subscription fee for such a service. Some of what is collected from the yearly fee can even be shared with the Content provider. This can be a way for Logos to add content and revenue and make the program more interactive. This also allows for authors and experts to extend their expertise and sell their books, courses, and products with of course, Logos making a profit from such ventures.

9. Recognize the Language in the Preferred Bible and use it when inserting verses into a Docx.

   I am a Missionary in Bolivia and work in both English and Spanish. There are 2 challenges I face when Using Logos.

   1. When inserting verses in Microsoft Word, I have to put in the English spelling to get the text from my preferred Bible which is Spanish. Then I have to change the reference in my document to from English to Spanish. The verse is quoted in Spanish, but for some reason the name of the book is not recognized when using Spanish.

   2. In sermon Editor, the same thing happens. However, in the notes you cannot change the reference to Spanish. This is terrible if one wants to produce a handout because the reference is in the wrong language.

   The workaround is cumbersome. You have to change the language of Logos to whatever language you are using at the time, then change it back to English when you are done. You have to restart the app whenever you make these adjustments. This is not very Customer Friendly!!!

   My suggestion is that since Logos is quoting the preferred Bible that it should recognize the reference's language as you are inserting verses into a document and include it in the inserted text.

   My own language is English, so I study in English. Additionally, more resources are available in English. So, I need to keep Logos in English. But, I need the ability to insert Spanish verses and their references into a document or in the Sermon Editor. This would seem to be an easy fix and a logical expectation.

   Granted, there are probably not enough people with my circumstances to make this a profit increasing change. But, I imagine it would be a great help to your customers who work in more than one language.

10. Right click Menu

    Something that would be helpful in the right click menu is to be able to make a note or clipping to any document I have already created without having to open the document. Right now when I highlight a something in a book or other resource I only have the option to make a note or clipping to a document that is already open or was last used. A drop down menu that would allow me to quickly search all my note and clipping documents would be helpful. Thansk

12. sugestion for access for Deslexic people

    I can’t Thank you and all your staff enough for all your work and continuing work in producing Logos Bible Software it’s brilliant I have been using it for a long time in my work as Chaplain to D/deaf and deaf blind people, retired now. It has been a great help in understanding not only the words, but the meaning and context, so I could translate them into British Sign Language. I have dyslexia and have had problems in the past accessing and reading your brilliant software and books. Could I make a suggestion please. If you could introduce a way of being able to change the page set up, colour of the page, the font and its size, line spacing. At the moment I have to copy and paste into another program Word or Page where I am able to change things around to help me read it and help me to understand what I have read. As I did this email. I wrote it on another program and copped it back over. The problem as you know which may make it more difficult for you and your staff, people who are dyslexic use different colour backgrounds and fonts help them with access. Mine is yellow/gold page, Comic Sans font size 14 and 1.5 line spacing. Which I put my notes on and bible reading when I go to bible study group, then Jan my wife checks what I have written, they think I am so clever, but I tell them the truth that it is Logos Bible software, does it all for me, it is fantastic. I know one friend likes a pink page.
    If this could be possible it would help a lot of people with dyslexia to access the the Holy Bible and all the other books to understand more easier to understand about God and his love for us, and save time.

    Please keep up the great work opening the meaning of Gods Word to people of the world.

13. Give back page numbers on Kindle Fire - recent upgrade took them away

    Today's Logos upgrade finished and so did the ability to see page numbers. Please return that option, it was a way to keep a mental note of where I was in the book.

15. Create my own devotionals

    I would like the ability to create my own devotionals with scriptures, calendar reminders (with any date range i.e. 7 days, 30 days,4 weeks, etc.), devotional thoughts, note section for inspirational thoughts, etc.

16. COMBINE "Clippings" and "Highlights"

    FEATURE REQUEST:

    It would be nice if "Clippings" and "highlights" were one in the same.

    Often during my study, I'm highlighting. And I want to save those highlights to a "Document." But, when I do that and return later to the document, there is no description of the highlighted passage much less the chapter and verse.

    So, I'm forced to, in addition to highlighting, do a CLIPPING of the same verse and make a new document to put that clipping in.

    Why not combine highlights and Clippings so that The selected or highlighted text with passage reference (chapter and verse) is displayed with a box to write a note and an option to highlight it using the many varieties of highlight markup?

    Then, additionally, still have the abilities to view your highlights in documents, but at least show the text and chapter and verse of what's been highlighted?

    If this is not clear, please do not hesitate to contact me to explain further. This is literally one of the most commonly used features I use and I badly want to see improvement here.

    One of the frustrations of this tool is that it creates a new note every time an observation is made from within the module. All observations should be included in the same note, linking/tagging the text for future reference. While they are combined in a notebook, the notebooks are not tagged/linked to the text or scripture reference. This means that there are often duplicate notebooks made for the same scripture reference which gets monotonous. It would also be nice to modify the number of observations that you would like to use. Because some of us are trained in expository preaching, we do not need all the elementary steps.

18. Add a link to the University of Chicago Perseus LSJ lexicon for Greek words

    In the BDAG lexicon, when you right click a word, the menu pops up with an option titled "Perseus Web Lookup". The Perseus LSJ version is sometimes very slow. The University of Chicago's version is much faster and has less clutter. (Note, the UoC version only works on lemmata).

19. Logos 4.5 palette files

    put markup style names into the title section of the palette note file so we can tell what markups is associated with the reference. with the sort by title we would be able to do more with the information. right now all the file does is duplicate the navigation by annotation already implemented in the resource locater bar..

20. Add "NOT" operator to library filter syntax

    At present, if I want to filter my library on the NOT of a single condition, I have to artificially add a universal condition so that I can use the ANDNOT operator; e.g.

    rating:>=0 ANDNOT mytag:"value"

    It would be more natural to use something like:

    NOT mytag:"value"

    or maybe

    mytag!:"value"

    (Note the exclamation mark preceding the colon.)
