Allow user to designate SD card as install directory for Logos
Currently Logos must be installed on a permanent drive. Request option to allow user to select removable drive as install location.
Installing on an SD card is unsupported. We see a much higher rate of performance complaints and crashes from users who bypassed the normal installation procedure and forced the program to install on a SD card. They are simply not as fast or as reliable as internal drives.
If saving disk space is a concern, please add your votes to this alternative suggestion: https://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-7/suggestions/5751660-install-only-selected-resources-to-save-disk-space

I had earlier requested a enhancement to all the user to designate the drive - Logos does allow this as long as the drive is a permanent drive. I de-installed Logos and inserted an SD card into my laptop (which was visible in Windows Explorer). When attempting to reinstall Logos using the "custom" installation, the only disks listed in the drop down menu as options are the permanent disks. When I attempted to change the disk path to the one with the SD card, I received the error message "you do not have permissions..."
I had also previously contacted Logos on this issue and they indicated that Logos could only be installed on permanent drives. Per the reasons stated in my earlier comment, it would be beneficial to install Logos on removable disks such as an SD card -

Many laptops have limited storage on main drive but allow additional storage on SD cards at minimal cost. Windows version requires that the entire Logos library (some users have 50+ GB in resources) be installed on a permanent drive (which cannot be easily expanded on many laptops) leaving no space for additional apps
