allow bulk switch on/off of visual filter types
It would be handy to be able to turn visual filters on/off "in bulk" - e.g. with Notes I have one Notes file per passage studied, so I have a fair few. It would be good to be able to switch on/off ALL my notes in one go. It would be good if the drop down menu had a check box or right-click options available on the Notes sub-header (with options: turn on/off this resource, turn on/off all resources). This could be applied to the other sections also.
27 votesIn Logos 6.0, categories of visual filters can be toggled.

a recently updated, downloaded, or bought
Hello,
I would like to suggest that Logos make a Menu for the Library section that would identify all Newly added selections (with options to modify how long is considered new), all updates of which selections (identifying when it was updated and how), and which items were bought for how much and when. Thank You Very Much! :)
0 votes“Last Updated” column was added to the Library in 4.2, and a “Resources Updated” section was added to the Home Page in 4.2a.

"Collections" section of the passage guide should be sorted by book.
The hits in our collections would be far more useful to have them grouped by book, and have the books ordered first by priority, and second by number of hits/relevancy.

Passage Guide
Apparently the passage guides that we run are being saved. This has caused some of us confusion because (as far as I can tell) there is no indication that our passage guides are being saved. When we want to run a new report, L4 first checks to see if we ran a report on the same verses. If so, it pulls up the old report.
Because I use different guides for different studies, this auto saving is very confusing because what I run a new report using the passage guide for a different study, what I expect to be in…

Realistic Sounding Voices
Hello,
I would LOVE to have the option to pick from REALISTIC sounding Voices for the Read Aloud feature of Logos. Please make this available! :) :)
1 voteLogos 4 uses the voices installed on your Windows OS. There are a variety of vendors (e.g., neospeech.com) that provide additional voices for purchase.

Highlight/marking/note list for each resource
It would be very nice to be able to see a list in each resource of all my highlights/markings/notes within that resource and showing part of the marked text. That way I can easily get to important ideas that I've marked and jump back and forth among them, like with the "bookmarks" tab in pdf readers. Each time I add a marking or note in a pdf document, the addition is included in the "bookmarks" tab with part of the text.
Right now exists the possibility to jump between highlights, but without seeing a list of the the highlighted texts.…

Enable Biblical Places to pull up a Logos 4 map (i.e. those maps that are not in the resources in My Library) by title, e.g., "Route of the Exodus", "Tribal Distribution of Palestine".

give us back the ability to format our notes
I would like to have back the feature that allows us to format our notes with color and underlines etc. I would also like to have back the ability to choose if the reference the note is attached to is underlined or highlighted.
28 votesChanging note text/background color and underlining was added in Logos 4.5.

Add the ability to have folders in the favorites in the Logos for iPhone system.
The functionality already exists in the Logos 4 system on PC but when you add them on the PC they don't sync down to the iPhone. I think it would be really nice to be able to make them on the iPhone but if that isn't as easy the ability to at least make them on the PC and sync them to the iPhone would be sufficient. This would be helpful to people that have a high number of favorite verses, and would like to categorize them.

iPhone app: add the ability to copy text (and paste to notes when the feature is added)
One might assume that this feature would be included in the yet-to-be-released ability to highlight and take notes. But this is just as valuable. So, maybe we can get "copy" as a feature even before highlighting and notes on the iPhone app.

Change default link from 'Follow' to 'Remember Last Setting' for all tools that currently default to
The default link setting for many tools (Cited By, Explorer, Text Comparison, Copy Bible Verses, and Power Lookup) is Follow. Create the option to open these tools to the last setting rather than to Follow.
6 votesIn 4.2 if you change these items to anything other than follow they will not follow in the future. Change it back to follow to make the default follow again.

allow a Note to be attached to a Lemma
Now that we have so many excellent Bible resources with the interlinears built in, it would be wonderful to be able to attach a Note to a Lemma within a Verse, and have that Note automatically appear at the same Lemma and Verse in other Bible resources that have the interlinears built in. I frequently make notes in my English Bibles about the Hebrew or Greek root, and want that note to appear in all my Bible versions. Currently I have to attach these notes to the entire verse, so the notes can long and unwieldy at times. It would…

speed up the Note editor
The note editor is so slow and extremely frustrating to use. PLEASE put priority on speeding this up!!

make it possible to MERGE or SPLIT notes files.
I have large duplicate note files since new note files were started in Logos4 before my old ones were imported from Logos3. Also, with the horribly slow note editor in Logos4, I need to split large note files into smaller ones.
131 votesThe new Notes Tool in Logos 8 does away with individual Notes Documents, and merges all notes into one database that can be faceted by many different criteria. This makes it unnecessary to need to merge/split notes files or manage the storage of notes. It’s supported on desktop, web, and mobile. https://community.logos.com/forums/t/173735.aspx
